Default My Dublin review!

I was stressing out on Friday coz i had an A.Level exam that day and so wouldnt be making it down to Dublin from Belfast till almost 4pm.. and the gates were opening at 5pm! but as soon as we got in and saw the SIZE of the stage we realised that it wouldnt make much of a differnce anyway.. we were only a few rows back from the edge of the fanclub enclosure and had a brilliant central view.. The sun was beigining to set and added to the whole atmoshpere.. Then Live suddenly appeared at ahbout 6.40 and kept us occupied! they were reeeally good, Ed is such a great frontman.. you shood see him dance and all his various funny moves! my girlfriend kept commenting on the rhymhtic movemnts of his hips ..hm..but ANYway! I knew most of their songs..they are actually really good Live..no pun intened! Ed said that it woz his first time in ireland, but that it wouldnt be his last.. dunno if he was only doing this to get in our good books or if he meant it tho! highlights of their set were ''we stood up for love'' and the briolliant ''doplhins cry''
Then there was the wait...i had picked up from this msg bord that jovi come on right after Avril finishs playin on the backing cd..and sure enuff, the lights suddlenly flared on and the build up mucic started!! This was my 3rd jovi concert in dublin..but nothing prepared me for the sheer noise of the crowd! Richie strolled on first and just stood there with hin arms outstrected soakin up all the corwds screaming.. then Jon appearing and. OMG, the stadium actually vibrated! i cood hardly hear the band during the first verse of bounce..! This was the best crowd at ANY gig iv bin to..and thatz quite alot.. and Jon cood sense it! he was bouncing around the stage EVERYwhere and working ALL of the corwd up.. Everyone knew all the words, i was real pleased Even diamond ring had a vocal accompiment of a few thousand! The usual opening songs of this tour went down a trerat.. In these arms when they played it was brilliant..and emotional! one of the highlights.. Prayer was SOO funny tho.. Richie started of this time with a guitar fancy solo into thing rather than the usual talkbox one..and he was soloing away and tico was getting redy to kick in with the drums when i noticed the talkbox was still folded down but richie didnt noctice! so we saw richie panicking and trying to flick his mic back up but it only wernt half way and so he was there crouched down for the whole first verse using it..i dunnmo how he kept that position up! was funny..
And i have to say, even tho i dont like wild in the streets much at all, it rocked live!
Wanted was great..Jon let us sing the first verse..and boy did we sing it!Jon looked impressed.
He then said he was gonna bring it down a notch and play summit of TheseDays..that got a cheer which i was pleastantly surpsired Dianmond ring followed..it was really atnmoshperic! made the whole stardium feel more intimate.. Richie was soloing away on electric over the top of Jons acoustic in true blusey style.. then they went into bed of roses whiche was terrific..and yes, he did dance and kiss a girl - cue 60,000+ screams etc!
Born to my baby blew my socks of i hafta confess! the sheer volume of the crowdsds ''na na's'' rocked the stadium..and when they finished the song Tico stared the beatback up again and we got another round of Na's! great fun..
Jon was reslly worikng the crowd tonight..flashing that big smile of his continuouslyt..he was having a great time! We had a short speech about how hes loves irelend..and how he'd travel around the world just to get back 'home' to irelnad! cue the Guniness refernce etc
KEEP THE FAITH..WOOOOOAHHH! The improv. in the middle was actually longer than the song intself! wer got the whole seriesof jungle screams, random jamming from the band and additoonal lyrics and then even some Sympthaty for the devil..This version musta ecxeeded the 10mins mark! rock on!
Sat nite was the long version too..jon goin through the days of the week then telling a WHOLE story in the middle! iv never herd this adlib before..was fasinating!this was another 8+min epic! broke straight into Justolder which was business as usal, good stuff!
UNDIVED was one of the best performences of a song live i have EVER seen! this acheived real anthem status, the crowd singing at the top of their lungs..i felt a real buzz during it! it is a powerful song live..the laser lights were goin and it was just great!!
We had thew usual ''party songs'' that i like to refer to them as next.. Sleep, rockin, bad medince, shout, twist, cap crash .. They were just all great fun.. maybe not the sincear feeling that ud get from the likes of undidvied or thesedays but these are always fun to sing and dance and jump to which is why the guys still include them.the crowd loved them..all the hand swaying etc.
Then for the 3rd encore they came back on and started into thesedays..my favourite ever song..!this was just magical. i got the shivers listning to it..it was just beautiful..Jon got the lyrics the wrong way round at the start of the ''jimy shoes'' chorus but it didnt matter!
Well, i know iv left out so much and the orders of the song are wrong too, but im still on a high! oh,one more thing..in the middle of diamond ring we herd sum ppl cheering of to the side of the stadium..guess who was sitting over there?? Arnold Swazenagger! coooooooool!
Yeah..iv left out alot actaully! hope someone posts another review..and includes Jon's antics with the cameras..Richies TRULEY FANTASTIC rendition of ill be there for you (i cant belive i 4got this one!) and everytgin else that happend!
p.s
watch the video they play at the end of the show..its hilarious!!

ktf y'all
