Yea, I've been around since Kevin started as head of venue security with Bon Jovi. I've never known him to kick someone out for NO reason. There has to be a misunderstanding somewhere.

agreeing here.

i know a few people who got kicked out of that gig but it was for good reason ie being too drunk, fighting etc...

as everyone else has said, the likelihood of them just thinking: k lets get rid of this guy is very minimal and if they were rough i'm assuming you were struggling in some capacity.

even the worst bouncers and security gaurds i know will tend just to lead you out without hassle providing you don't give them any grief or try to struggle with them.

519 shows? - that averages just over 23 shows a year and they havent toured every year - also where the hell does any normal person get the time and money to travel round the world and see 23 shows a year? and to then get thrown out of a show for just standing there and doing nothing?

give it up mate!!!

If you think you have a legitimate case that would warrant compensation, take it to a lawyer.

519 shows??? That's more than the girl who holds the banner at the front of TONS of shows, isn't it??

I have to agree with those who said your being evicted without reason seems bizarre. Were you doing anything at all that you think could have been perceived as disruptive? Did you say anything that might have been taken as rude? If you actually did not do or say anything that would have drawn attention to you, how did they choose you for eviction?

Think things over, and please let us know! If you really were not doing anything that would cause a problem, then seek legal advice. It's just beyond my ability to comprehend why someone would be evicted when they did NOTHING out of line.

Unhappy My experience at show 519

I don't drink since I have a medical condition that prevents me from doing so. I NEVER disrespect the bands. I was alway brought up that manners are free of charge & should be used as such. I was just enjoying the show, taking a few photos for my collection, took a couple for a friend, since i am very tall. I was chatting to the person in front when the aforementioned person evicted me. Since he refused to talk to me I have NO REASON as to why I was treated in this way & I have been unable to get ANY response from security, management or promoters. As per the comment from Beavoid I have actually cancelled the trip to the East Coast shows in July that I had planned, I was going to do a further 5 shows ending in the 2 at Giants Stadium over a 10 day period. The staff memeber in question is an employee of Bon Jovi management not a security firm, so yes they are an American company & yes it is just plain shocking. I have NEVER been treated like this at ANY of the 2000 plus concerts that I have attended over the last 29 years. I have also NEVER been evicted before & I was behaving in EXACTLY the same manner at this show as all the others so if anyone has any further suggestions then PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can you assist. I have not purchased another BJ product & am SERIOUSLY contemplating selling my collection due to the above situation. That is how aggrieved I feel & also how unjustly & unfairly I feel I was treated at the show. I also feel that reporting my original posting as a bad posting without first contacting me directly or finding out more is a bit like how I was treated at the show ?? So where to from here ?

Cool

I actually am self employed & the bulk of the shows were done during the Slippery, Jersey & Faith tours when I had les commitments & more free time & cash. I could afford to take 12 weeks away at a time & then go home for a few days to pick up anything I needed & then back on the road. I work in an industry where I can do my job anywhere since all I need is a laptop & a couple of reference books. I would work for about 6 hours a day then off to the shows in the evening.

I only saw one person removed from the Glasgow concert and that was a very drunk young man that the police had to physically man-handle and take away.
