If I had a choice between a really apreciative, explosive audiance, or the chance to hear I'd die for You, Lay your hands on Me, and Blood on Blood I know what I'd choose....

I'm sure if the atmosphere isn't spot on but the band puts together a set like that you can enjoy yourself....

There were a LOT of people (like in every show) it's totally normal that at some place there were not as much ambiance than at other's.

When I saw them for the first time in 93 I was 10 and I was "passive" my family too! But I really enjoyed the show! Really really!!!

Everybody enjoys a show in a different manner... some like to dance, others to sing, other just to watch... etc...

I've just ridden the previous reply.
And I think he's got a point. I was shouting and dancing, like a lot of others, but I can imagine that not all the people were doing that. Some people really don't like to dance and just go to listen to the music and see the performance.
But you know, I've just seen some pictures on tv about the concert and they showed a view of the audience and all the people where klapping.

8. BUT! There is something I want to say to all these guys moaning like "Jon's voice is not good anymore", and "The last few albums suck."
Well I can tell all you **ks that Jon's voice was better than ever yesterday

it was a great show, and a great set... but you're comment there is completely wrong...

Okay, here we go :

Well, he was quitte alright. Letitrock must have appreciated him since he had long hair. Peter was a good singer, at least a lot better then the winner from Idols in Holland, but his band simply sucked. They weren't a band but just a few studio musicians.

You are probably the only one who thinks so. Everyone I spoke to was happy they didn't play Misunderstood. And it's no conincidence.

They did enough talking. About I'd Die For You, before IML, before IBTFY. Enough for me.

Yes you are right, the audience was crap. Even worser as in Germany.

They weren't allowed to play longer then 135 minutes. I saw the setlist and it contained 6 audibles. (songs they'd play if they hade time left) For noise pollution and so on. There haven't been fireworks during the last 3 tours and the movie was just to give credit to all the people who worked on this. It's a good thing since it's the only way to thank the crew.

Well I can tell all you **ks that Jon's voice was better than ever yesterday! Ok so sometimes he takes a song a bit lower, but then again he can still reach all the high notes he wants, and he doesn't try to sound like he has a sore throat, which he used to do before. And about the "they are rock, they are pop" thing: there has been a lot of discussion about the latest albums, some of you say there are pop rather than rock. Well, yesterday at the concert I had this thought: who cares about how the albums sound! In the end, Bon Jovi is at its best when they are performing live! I almost never listen to the studio albums, I have enough bootlegs that I enjoy listening to and they matter to me. Bon Jovi = Live band!!
Sometimes he takes a song a bit lower...Hrmpf. In These Arms is played in D instead of E, which makes the song one complete note lower. Ridiculous. All songs are played half a note lower, so his voice is not better then ever. And he can not reach all the high notes if he wants. Though Jon was good this show, it's just that it annoys me when people say that Jon's voice is better then ever. And I care how the albums sound, since they are what make us go to the show. But enjoy your bootlegs if you want.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

I talked to Tom yesterday, I don't think he did apreciate him... Something about coming down to the front of the stage and singing a sickly love song?

I was just kidding. Peter had hair as long as the guy in his avatar, so that was the reason Tom was supposed to like him. But yes, he sang a sickly love song. I Can't remember which one though.

Yes, that sickly love song wasn't good, but he ended his part with Rocking in the free world, and that was spot on, I'd say!
