Default My impression of the Belgian concert

This is my long story of the Belgian concert yesterday with some impressions. I will put them in points so you can easily react on anything you want.

1. Most funny moment for me happened before the concert. I was quite early (at about 1 pm) so I was waiting with my girlfriend until the doors opened. There were three girls next to me, one of them had been miss whatsoever, I heard her say that, and she obviously found herself very pretty and sexy. If you were around there somewhere, I bet you have seen her cause everyone was looking at her.
My girlfriend had already pointed out that the girl's breasts were obviously fakes, cause they were big, firm and round. Not even a minute later she told to her girlfriends, so loud that everyone could hear it: you wouldn't say they are fake wouldn't you, come on, touch them! And she started rubbing over her shoulder. Everyone of course laughed about it.

2. Peter! He was fantastic, one of the best support acts I've ever seen! Ok, so his set consisted of covers, but he proved he is ready to become famous in Belgium, and maybe even the world. I hope it for him!

3. Why did Arid play for such a long time? They sucked! There was a girl somewhat behind me who started going "not another song" and I couldn't help but joining her in that. Has anyone noticed all the booing going on? I think they were not on the right place, support acts for Bon Jovi shouldn't be such alternative bands.

4. The setlist that Bon Jovi did was quite good. Quite a few surprises in it, I asked for that a few weeks ago on this forum, is it coincidence or not? Anyway, I only regretted that there was no Misunderstood and no All About Lovin' You.

5. Regret: there was almost no talking during the gig. I used to love the interventions Jon did inbetween songs. Now he only did some talking with the guy running over stage.

6. Another regret: the audience? Come on, where were the fans???? I have been singing all the time, I tried to get the people do the hand-wave thing during Crash, but no-one reacted. I almost thought I was the only fan out there... What happened? I really want some reactions of the others here about this. If you were on the concert yesterday, did you clap, did you sing, did you do your best to let the others follow?

7. I guess another regret: what was the stupid shit at the end? Just ONE set of encores, a movie thing that no-one watched and.... NO fireworks, not during the gig, and not even after the show. Did all the money go to the stage or what?

8. BUT! There is something I want to say to all these guys moaning like "Jon's voice is not good anymore", and "The last few albums suck."
Well I can tell all you **ks that Jon's voice was better than ever yesterday! Ok so sometimes he takes a song a bit lower, but then again he can still reach all the high notes he wants, and he doesn't try to sound like he has a sore throat, which he used to do before. And about the "they are rock, they are pop" thing: there has been a lot of discussion about the latest albums, some of you say there are pop rather than rock. Well, yesterday at the concert I had this thought: who cares about how the albums sound! In the end, Bon Jovi is at its best when they are performing live! I almost never listen to the studio albums, I have enough bootlegs that I enjoy listening to and they matter to me. Bon Jovi = Live band!!

9. Conclusion: yesterday they could have done a better show, but the performance itself was perfect.
