Default My Manchester review, what an amazing concert

Wow what a show, arrived in Manchester at around 12, me and my girlfriend had to pick our tickets up from the box office, fortunatly we had no drama's there.
We were 153 and 154 in the Line for fan club and finally getting in at around 4pm and amazingly getting a spot around 2 rows from the front on Jon's left side.

I thought the first support act, think they were called gekko, were fantastic, for a band that has only done 3 shows previously in a pub in front of around 150 people, they weren't daunted by the occassion. During the show some poor girl fainted right next to me and my girlfriend, luckily see seemed ok after she was helped up and given a drink.

Then on came Nickelback and wow they put one hell of a show on playing some new stuff along with their classics, Never Again, How you remind me and Too Bad.
Chad was in good humour as well.

Then at 8pm out came the gods of rock, and wow what an entrance, couldn't see jon at first but then i looked left and saw him on the ramp and my girlfriend almost fainted at this point lol, great song to open with as well Last Man Standing, then throwing a suprise instead of going into you give love, they did Rockin all over the world. In addition they had 2 guys from Southside Jonny jamming with them on stage.

Course along with doing the new stuff, have a nice day, story of my life, they also did the classics, Livin on a prayer, Its my life when that one came on the stadium really erupted.

Then i have to say if ever there was a highlight it was when they did Dry County, Richie really rocked on that one, i just could not believe i was hearing it.

What was nice they did Welcome to wherever you are, they hadn't done that at all on the European tour so for us to get that was something special.

Even though his voice was going a little he still did the big songs such as Someday i'll be saturday night and Keep the Faith, just showing his committment to all the fans and proving what a talent he is and the rest of the band, even if he forgot to introduce David Bryan at the end, not that David minded.

Then there was the rush to get back to catch a Taxi to the car park where my girlfriend's house mate had parked, finally getting back to my girlfriends house around 2am in the morning, all i can say is thanks to the guys from New Jersey for making it such a memorable day, which was probably even better than Old Trafford, it was worth all the aching feet and sore throat. Can't complain about a near 3 hour show.

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."
