Well that's the thing about Bobby. His guitar playing is adequate at best but he really has a beautiful voice.

I saw SSJ last Sat night - with a different guitar player obviously. Anybody plays better than Bobby does. I had never heard of this guy and he was excellent LOL.

None of the musos have commented yet on the fact that 'Any Other Day' live at the O2 was actually played 'at-pitch' - I haven't checked the other LH songs yet but that has to be the first time they've done that since the mid 80s surely. Not the same sort of taxing vocals as back then but an unforeseen deviation from the norm at any rate.

I only noticed because I have been transcribing the outro solo Richie played on the night from the youtube clips.

That's the point Russ - he isn't bad. He just has no fire - no spark. He is a pedestrian guitar player - competent but no flash. His voice is far better than his guitar skills. He is also known as being a very accessible and nice guy - so it's hard to bash him LOL.

I noticed it but didn't think to mention it. I checked as soon as I realized that, and it's because the album version is tuned half a step down, which I thought was kinda odd.
