This was the first Bon Jovi concert I have been to (I came from N Ireland) and have to say this is one hell of an experience, absolutely mind blowing. After arriving and finding our seats (the seating arrangement was very disorganised people didn't know where they were meant to be sitting, but everyone was happy by the time Jon and the band came out). They kicked off with Bounce and the crowd was absolutely buzzing, the stage looked spectacular and the sound was fantastic. Then came the classic You Give Love A Bad Name which lifted the whole stadium, the band went through most of their classics eg Runaway, Keep The Faith, Someday I'll Be Saturday Night (which got a way better reception than I expected), In These Arms, with Bad Medicine right at the end. The boys done 6 songs of the Bounce album, Bounce: This one was a real crowd pleaser and got the gig of to a great start, great stadium song. Everyday: Way better live than I expected and again most of the crowd seemed to join in, the green laser lights were superb. Undivided: Very good song that Jon started of accoustic "One for love, one for truth, one for me, one for you, when we once were divided now we stand united, we stand as one undivided". Then the song kicked off, not as much seemed to know this one but it got a great reception at the end. The Distance: This is my favourite song along with All About Loving on the album and Richie Sambora's guitar playing is unbelievable, stunniing. Joey: A great song that had a video to it maybe its going to be their next single. David Bryans did a fantastic keyboard solo before Joey kicked in the crowd went crazy. Misunderstood: Out of the new songs got maybe the 2nd best reaction after Bounce this is an awesome song to sing along to live. Highlights - Jon let the crowd sing the whole first verse of Wanted Dead Or Alive what a reaction that song gets live, brilliant. Livin On A Prayer and Its My Life got perhaps the best reaction of the night and both songs are two of Bon Jovi's best known. I'll Be There For You by Richie Sambora was superb the starting to that song always seems to send the crowd into a frenzy. After In These Arms, Jon said 2,3,4 nanananananana.... everyone started bouncing up and down and cheering like crazy absolutely brilliant song that should have been on Crossroads. Raise Your Hands was exceptional and I hoped this one popped up and it did and way more people were into this than I thought there would have been. The main highlight of the night was no doubt after Raise Your Hands were the band were finished and the stage lights went off and they said goodnight. The fans just started clapping, banging their feet, screaming and shouting for more. No Kidding this must have went on for 5 whole minutes without stopping absolutely deafening one of the best atmosphere's I have heard in my life, everytime the crowd saw a shadow they screamed even louder. Finally Jon and the crew came out and Bon Jovi played us 4 more songs including I Got The Girl and Captain Crash And The Beauty Queen From Mars from the crush album and Bad Medicine ("Is there a doctor in the house") and then shout. All in all this concert surpassed my expectations and the atmosphere was just....damn words can't describe it, loud is an understatement. We cheered the band at the end and a I want to give special thanks again to Jon, Richie, Dave, Ticco and Hugh McDonald. The masters of rock they surely are. Please continue to make great albums in the future.
