It's so nice to read about such enthusiasm. Many of us tend to bitch and moan about setlists but I can assure you that very few of us would run 6 1/2 miles just to get to a show before the opening notes.

I also have to agree with your conclusions. I am not fond of all the production either. Personally I would rather have a spontaneous rock and roll band rather than a polished "act". However in my case they manage to "shake things up" often enough to keep me coming back for more.
