Default My UK Tour Review

Well, what can I say except WOW! The guys have given me all I hoped for and more over the last ten days. Here's a few of my personal highlights from each show:

Dublin - First Jovi show this tour and well, Dublin! I managed to get front row for the first time ever and it was amazing. Great to witness from close up The setlist was great, Diamond Ring, These Days and of course hearing Richie singing I'll Be There For You for the first time :P A truly amazing way to start off the tour.

Glasgow - Sitting around a very cold pavement for hours on end with some of the insanest people I think I'll ever meet Making ridiculous Neurotica banners which came out of the no sleep delerium (I still have the original here Nola) seeing Jon's face when he saw the banner LMFAO! Richie winking at me in my Sambora T-shirt. Fantastic crowd, front row again and a show full of energy!

Wolverhampton
- Getting sunburned in the queue, first show this tour with hubby and he loved it seeing Lisa's mum rocking out at the front loving every minute, singing my heart out and dancing like a madwoman all night long.

Manchester
- The nearest show to home turf Sleeping out in the street with an insane bunch of people - sitting up all night with circus boy LOL! making him get us tea every hour to ensure we survived the night, fighting for carpet to sleep on, and then realising that I was getting no sleep at all LOL! Hubby's mcdonald's run in the morning - the loan of a hotel room to freshen up (cheers girls ) again front row in front of The Legend. Brilliant show, the band were on fire and having some serious fun at the same time, and hearing Lola, one of my all time favourite songs.

Hyde Park - Well, one word - AWESOME The set was amazing, the view great, the band unbelievable. No queueing because we couldn't be bothered Dancing in my bare feet on grass at the back of the pit on a hot sunny day. The set that went on forever, the band who refused to stop, the new addition to the Kray brothers , Lola again with the great Ray Davies, oh and of course the moment that made it all worthwhile - acoustic Never Say Goodbye - crying from start to finish of that song - it finished off my UK tour like I could never have imagined.

Thanks over the tour go to those amazing people I hooked up with: Nola, Lisa, Charlotte, Norma, Justine, Gina, Jenny, Maryann, Steph, Neo, Tanya, and many more. Special thanks to all those running the lists at the shows, Anu, Melissa, Suey, Laura, Taija, Tanya, Siggy, and those at Hyde Park that I didn't really get to meet. It's a thankless job, but one that was done for the good of all the fans. You did a great job!

Huge thanks to the lovely LisaE who put up with me for an entire ten days LOL! I didn't think you were going to make it PMSL A fantastic tour buddy, and a great friend - you made it what it was and it was great to share it all with you, the laughter, the tears and the sleepless nights Can't wait for the FCT!

I'm sad it's over, but at least it's only four weeks until Giants. Round two here we come..........
