Geez, I'm normally all for defending Jon, but a) WTF with the record company, if true? And b):

How's he ever gonna survive another tour or even one normal concert, if he cannot even perform those acoustic versions without sounding flat or his voice breaking and cracking? Very sad

guys jon was always business minded, he had some demands and since they meet his askings why should he not return?? it sounds weird because of the songs but the songs just highlighted a certain time. i believe knows very well what a record company can do and what not and simply chose the best solution, without a record company behind the new record would have very small chances to be heard now it has just some more..
also jon probably changed some lyrics maybe added 1-2 songs and i wont be surprised if he tweaks the record a couple more times till the fall.
there is no reason for bj to go indie now, i just hope the record is strong and the voice improves(and richie coming back)

It's so strange that they are back with UMG. The album makes no sense anymore then, at least for me. My expectations have fallen down, if it is going to be another WAN I'm done with the band. I don't want the same old same old. After TC the band went downhill IMO, that is the last album that I still enjoy.

Album delayed to the fall? That's annoying.
Thought the new album was Richie leaving inspired?

Really disappointed with this news.

The entire point of BURNING BRIDGES is moot now.

Not really!!! Bon Jovi needs to be on a a Major Label.

Maybe they listened to the lyrics on BB and changed their minds.

The album was a nice surprise of unreleased material with a few new gems mixed in. Yes Gems... Teardrop and WDR are some of the best songs to surface within the last 15 years... And Blind Love, Sat Night Gave Me Sunday Morning , along with a few others are very enjoyable.

Yeah!!! Blind Love wasn't too bad but Seat was painful... Songs like BOR and Always can't even be options!!!
