Thanks for the info, guys! Right after I posted, I had a brief moment there when I was afraid it was on TLFR and I was an idiot for not realizing it since I don't listen to that one very often.

Good to know it's been done that way before, though, and wasn't a not-so-subtle message to, y'know, the other guy!

Bon Jovi - You Give Love A Bad Name ( Live In Borgata 2003) - YouTube
Not that I know for certain, but it was said it was the night not filmed for the DVD.

I don't think this is the night they're talking about. I remember when they did the live broadcast and omitted the two new songs, Jon changed the order on stage (swapped Love for Sale and Bad Name's order) so when Jon did the snapping thing the band was bewildered and Jon had to say ".....Bad Name!" and then mugged for the audience. That was completely edited out of the DVD version but that performance was from that night.

Though if that night wasn't broadcast at all I'm not sure how BonJovi100 knows he did it there unless a bootleg exists.

Maybe they excluded it from the DVD because they needed the rights / royalties to sell it... So Jon did the version without it... The 07 unplugged version wasn't officially sold...

It was on different night (they played 2 shows day after day)
I'm only don't remember where I watched it. Live broadcast? Probably I have it somwhere on DVD but I only founded normal version from DVD. I remember that I was little dissapoinment that it wasn't relased on DVD. I think that also Love For Sale from second night was better.

There were 2 nights at the Borgata. Night one was better than night two but they released night 2 as the DVD (typical Jovi decision making at work). Bad Name from the 1st night was the best of all the songs. I'm fuzzy on whether or not Hit the Road Jack was part of it. I couldn't testify in court, but I do remember thinking it was the highlight of the entire 2 nights which was strange for me because I typically do not like that song live.

I'd love to see a video of the first night.

I respectfully disagree. Bad Name (with Hit the Road Jack) was played on night 2. I have an audio bootleg of it from someone knowledgeable who used to post here. Here is part of his text file:

The first night of the 2 night stand was released on DVD. This is the second night, there is nothing official in this torrent. some VIDEO footage was intercut sparingly as B-roll on the DVD but the entire concert on the DVD is the first night, the 14th, with only minor edits and removal of the jam. If you enjoy this concert pick up the DVD and you will have the entire tour

From the discussions here around the time of those shows I seem to remember night 2 being used with night 1 having the setlist in a different order. But that was so long ago it's easy to forget that kind of info....
