You mean tons of other Bon Jovi boots? Got a list online somewhere?

Hmmm yeah, that sounds very sensible and reasonable actually. I'd like to know the sources too, but in like 99% of the cases it's too much hassle to try and find it out.

I'd love to get the best versions right away too... But the problem is, I don't have any known-source stuff to trade back. And since I've heard that most of these "hard core collectors" don't trade for empty CD-Rs or sell copies of their boots at cost price (you know, $ or € 5 per show max), it seems that most of us regular collectors are stuck with the sub-par stuff.

If I had the money, I would've done so ages ago. But to me, going to shows in person is more important than getting the perfect Dolby Surround sound system and the latest technical gadgets and whatnot for my bootlegs... I don't even own a DVD player yet, even tho I got a bunch of Jovi DVDs waiting to be watched. So I guess I'm stuck with my ancient entertainment centre for now...

I believe you do. And believe me, I'd love to get those non-mp3ed first generation copies of the digital master boots. But when you don't have anything to trade back, you're stuck with what you have.

Yeah, I've heard about that. And I believe that most of my roughly 200 or so Jovi boots are not taken from mp3s, they're just NNth generation CD-R copies of the digital or analogue masters. Some of them might have originally been either on cassettes or on vinyls, but I can't say that for sure.
