My theory is that The Bamboozle hasn't sold anywhere near the number of wristbands and pricey VIP packages that they thought they were going to sell. I have no way to know, of course, but it kind of feels like a fire sale to me.

Agreed with the people that said you'd have to be crazy for them to NOT play the hits.

since its jersey and the only show for a while i d guess it would sell out...who knows? how many people is the capacity of bamboozle for a day? 40.000??

I do not understand the news. Do you mean?. Does playing songs box set?. Do not play the hits? It sounds fantastic if this is done. Can anyone have confirmation?.

Agreed Terri. I think the promoters, with having Bon Jovi as a headliner, were counting on drawing those with deeper pockets vs the normal Bamboozle goer. I don't think that has really happened!

I'm with you too Terri - I notice that even single day tickets are now cheaper on the Bamboozle site than what I paid for them when they first appeared. A fact that does not make me happy. I hope Asbury Park benefits from the extra money though.

They've just come off a massive two year tour. This aint Elvis back from the dead for one last show. I'm not surprised people aren't clambering for tickets.

I agree - I'm going because it's local and I have spent so many years supporting Asbury Park that I'm not going to stop now. This is NOT a show I would travel for though if it weren't local. I'm assuming that we are going to hear all the hits all the time and nothing else. If for some reason we do get something different I will consider myself lucky.
