Depends on the night. My biggest problem with Vince is he only sings every other word. He also moves around the stage a hell of a lot more, and for a guy in his shape, that can't be easy.

I just youtube'd some Crue from last summer....yes- he does skip alot of words LOL. But when at show (several beers deep) it doesn't matter. They put on a good (short) show though. Love his energy.

Exactly. Their show is amazing. I'd rather Jon sound like crap if he at least put on a good show. Worked on the Slippery tour.

No. Sorry. I think Bon Jovi does an amazing job as a show, I still remember when I saw this and I was hypnotized by the performance and how well they sounded! I went home and say "I thought they would sound like crap but they shutted my ass, Jon voice was great!". If he couldn't sing I wouldn't have interest at all on spending a medium salary for a ticket.

Well during DL's heyday, Joe wasn't a singer, he was a screecher in my opinion. From all the videos I've seen and bootlegs I've heard from the Hysteria tour, its not really singing so much screeching. However, the past 3 times I've seen them, (08, 09,11) he sounded better each time. But he still has part of his voice that sounds the same. He's gone from good to much better. Jon has gone from great, to not very good.

Now onto Vince, never seen them live, really don't want to, but I have the CrueFest dvd from the first cruefest and I rarely watch their part. I can't stand his vocals, but its as someone said, he may be just too much out of shape and cant sing as well as he can because their songs are pretty fast.

The only 25th anniversary you'll see Jon celebrate is Lost Highway's. He'll come out of retirement for that one.

Should have copied Springsteen and done a box set for Slippery and NJ. Full concert from both world tours, 5.1 of the albums or whatever, An album of demo's - Merry Christmas.

Not trying to deny that Bon Jovi are nostalgia or that their current music is soooo bad that no one would go see them if it wasn't for SWW/NJ/KTF.... BUT **** me, there's way too many young people at Bon Jovi concerts! Way more than the 'non-nostalgia-hero' Bruce! Not to mention people like Kiss or Alice Cooper.

Don't ask me how on earth they do it....but both concerts I've seen in 2011, I was surrounded by kiddos (and I am not that old myself!) And on previous tours it was the same. I guess they have some form of geeky-hipster-appeal. They're so uncool that it's cool nowadays (how else can one explain it?!?)

Just some examples below:

Bucharest crowd 2011:

And Joey Tempest does a fine job, I can't see anything to complain. Sure, he's lost some of the highest notes, but nowhere near the amount Jon has lost. Plus, Europe is still an amazing live band. I've seen them live 4 or 5 times since the "comeback" and every time they've been great.

I've seen many young people, mostly teenagers in Europe while Bon Jovi were on tour. May US kids like Bieber or Gomez or whoever young 'artist' they like so that's why you won't see at least in USA a young fanbase. .

Compare their ticket sales and album sales, and you'll see a huge difference.

I'm a young fan too, but I only own their 86-95 material. I won't be surprised if these kids don't give a fcuk about Lost Highway, The Circle or any new song.
