Actually, those dates work better for me. I've got a project due in August...if the dates had been later I may not have been allowed the time off.

And, I had a thought as to why the dates were earlier than anticipated...could there be pre-season home games for the Jets or Giants at the beginning of August? More research is needed...

Maybe the end of July will be Yankee or Shea stadium. Hmm - strange planning. I guess Bruce ended his huge Rising tour at Shea - why not Bon Jovi? The stadium sucks though as a music venue - Yankee stadium would be better.

July 18 & 19 will probably work for me. I'm sure they'll work for my traveling buddy Christy. But I'm still concerned about this whole general admission thing. Did they ever say whether any of those seats will be released to the general public? I don't really like general admission anyway.

Sure - they're fine. A bit surprising but I have left things pretty open. I just bought Philly tickets today (the 15th). My daughter will be in Europe for 3 weeks though and won't be home until July 22 - boy is she mad LOL. I am assuming that the end of the month will be the baseball stadiums - I guess we'll see.

WTF? Giants Stadium on a weekday? That sucks! Giants should be the last damn show of the tour.

I agree. I mean, Giants is an event. It's something that people come from all over the world to see. To have 2 shows on a Tuesday and Wednesday makes absolutely no sense to me whatsoever.

Even if they play Yankees Stadium - Big deal. The place is in the middle of the Bronx. Who the hell wants to go there when they don't know the area? Giants is so easy. Hotels all over the place, easy to get to. Yankee Stadium will be a nightmare.

Very True. I've got friends who wanted to drive across 4 states to go Giants Stadium this summer b/c its an awesome all day event. Don't know if that will happen anymore.
No way Yankee stadium will be even close to the same as Giants Stadium. And how do we even know they will playing at Yankee Stadium or Shea Stadium.
It almost seems like they made a mistake with those dates. The last 2 tours Giants has fell on a weekend.

Edit: This answers the Yankee Stadium question!
Question:
WOW how awsome is it going to be BON JOVI playing YANKEE STADIUM this summer? Can't wait for that show!!!

Hmm anyone get from the official news thing that GA may be available to non-fan club members? *Crosses fingers*

Edit... looks like on the presale for Boston you can get GAs... and it makes it sound like its GA seating not standing.
