Didn't say you did. No one has. He's been demonized.

This paragraph is a perfect example of the conclusions you jump to. Where do I name Seb or Thierry as your Gods? Where do I fault them? It's a collective effort....as goes with any mob.

You're not going to go to blogs on MSNBC or turn on the BBC and see six thousand topics relating to the band. The only other major site dedicated to Bon Jovi is Backstage, and we know that site is a totalitarian regime. So of course this website is the only place where you'd hear negative opinions about Jonny boy; it's the only relevant hub where people can discuss the band. Makes sense, right?

That's a somewhat lengthy paragraph as another way of saying you missed the point of testimonials from those who actually deal with the man show no evidence of the fan fiction version. Contrast this with Gene Simmons, who the fans here have seemed to confuse Jon for. You'll find plenty of first person testimonies to his arrogance by journalists and musicians who have dealt with him.

I'm pretty sure that god-awful documentary they released last fall, where Jon was bitching about how hard his lifestyle was while being driven around in luxury, made that blatantly obvious. I'm also not sure why it's suddenly an absurd idea that Jon Bon Jovi, probably one of the most meticulous band leaders in the industry, would have people keeping watch and tabs on reactions to an event as unexpected and alarming as him blowing out his leg during a live show. It would seem like the perfectly expected and logical course of action on his part.

Because I have seen no evidence. All I saw in the documentary was a stressed out man with more responsibility than you can even comprehend. You aren't helping your case here citing it. He spends his time locked away from the world in hotel rooms staying on top of the business instead of sight seeing with all that money. Money and fame do not equal better quality of life. Young and poor quickly scoff at that, but why do lottery winners coming from poverty echo the exact same sentiment?

Jon's personality type is extremely obvious: he's what they call a "Fieldmarshal" a natural born CEO who uses his gut and instincts, rather than knowledge or motivational skills, to get to the top. Jon's admitted in interviews he has no clue about different types of guitars, he just gets Richie and co. to choose the right stuff for him. He also couldn't help but take several detours in mid-life to see if he could build a better kingdom. That's all classic "Fieldmarshal" behavior. So is being somewhat cynical, arrogant towards people they feel are inferior, not having a penchant for smalltalk, and having very little interest in pleasing others... but most of all, the success of himself is just as important, if not more, than the success or originality of the project, or in this case the art.
Which is fine. That's who Jon is. Like I said, I wish he openly showed that side of him more, like he did in that interview in a London newspaper just before the O2 string, where he made a lot of off-beat sarcastic jokes. That's the real Jon. The one who gives bleached smiles who makes small talk jokes in interviews is a facade.

The problem with your last two paragraphs is they offer no supporting evidence for any of your conclusions so are quite wasteful of the space used. So you've come up with a term to describe his personality type. That's cute. Where do you get your evidence that he is cynical and arrogant toward people he finds inferior? Where is the evidence that he sees the world in superiority/inferiority? Where is the evidence that he has no interest in pleasing others? I can get behind it more when the evidence is presented.
