Need I remind you that YOU are the one who initially compared them saying Richie doesn't sing as well as Phil nowadays??

This has ZERO to do with what types of solo vocalists they are, but everything to do with their backing vocals in Bon Jovi, which is why I posted a 2016 video of Richie singing a Bon Jovi song. He sings, Phil screams.
Phil´s the better Guitar Player
Richie the better singer.

From a technical stand point maybe...for emotional output, not even close.

To be honest, it's like comparing Eddie Van Halen to Eric Clapton...both very different styles.

Richie´s playing the same Solo´s since the 80´s... it´s boring like hell.. I´m happy with this fresh taste called Phil X !!

The day Phil can pull off a solo with as much passion as the one on Stranger In This Town I will be impressed.
That's just my opinion though, I'm happy that you're happy.

This might be the case, but It's by far Not the First forum I ever joined in my life, and as well Not the First time I had any human conversation. As I usually don't have problems with people, i think I know how to communicate. You obviously don't.

That's different cups of tea. There are certain points you can compare, like the role they play in the band and certain (objective) vocal Parameters like power, range and what not. You can compare a rapper with an Opera singer If you want to.
But at the end of the Day, an Opera singer and a rapper have different Jobs, different things to do to fare well in a Job. That's what I meant.

And, don't you think that this isn't a fair comparison, Either? Right now you are comparing backing vocals by phil with lead vocals by Richie (of course td is a Band Song, but he's obviously singing lead there).

But as you seem to instantly explode If someone counters or even tries to disagree to your Argumentation, i will call that now so you won't have to anger About my stupidity. Sorry to have wasted your time.

Yeah, That's a very strong point of Richie's. Passion.
The Bad thing About passion is that it can really suffer a lot over the times... Still, let's hope for the Best (that Either phil gains some more of it or that Richie gets his act straight again )

His tone is MILES BETTER than it was for the past 3 years. And doesn't sound out of breath like he did in the 2015 mini-tour

Sounds weak but not as much as I expected. Bad Medicine has sounded awful since... forever? But the subtle changes are working, instead of mumbling gibberish while trying to sing all the words he sounds clearer now.

I'd rather have strong backing vocals, don't care if they yell. Fits most of the songs and helps Jon tremendously.

No more videos?

Now I doubt whether the new songs have been played.

My sense of entitlement. Apologies for (too much) anticipation of new live material.
