The band have been going 30+ years. Do something great and give something back like 3 nights in London for the price of a ticket in 80s when the band started. But no, they've gone the other way and are ripping people off

I think the thing that jars the most is the fact Jon tries to push the blue collar, working class, philanthropist angle alot and then is directly involved in charging insane amounts of money and pricing out the very people he sings about in his songs.

A very good point -- Jon had to given up some, if not most, of the control he's used to having in order to get his record deal back. If their new powers that be see going the "turn them into rock's answer to Beyonce" route as the only way to keep Bon Jovi on the A list financially, they're stuck whether they like it or not.

All I asked is if they had sold their souls to Z-eyonce, LOL!

I'm going to open myself up to potential criticism here and say that I have been on 1 runaway tour trip. It was in October 2013 and it was a full band show in Vegas, and included 2 parties, the photo op, etc. I am glad I did it once, but doubt I'll pay that kind of money again. I actually had a Great Uncle pass away and I received enough money from him to do the trip. Also, I do have a job and a brain.

If memory serves correctly, the cost of that RT trip 3 years ago was $400 less than what the NYC trip is now. That's outrageous. It bothers me how much they are using these trips for the exclusive events, especially with this latest announcement.

I've never heard of them. But no one ever plays in Jackson and I only travel for one other artist so I'm kind of living in a bucket. Who else have they done astronomically priced shows for?

If you are not one of those with a career then why be offended?

It's no different to bored husbands of rich business women but from what I've seen of previous shows it's 90% women who would only know prayer.

I'm not insulting women I'm suggesting the type of women who go to these shows and I may be totally wrong!
Also my thoughts. I picture "Housewives of NY." These people exist. There is little relation to how I view women in general. It's holding up a very real demographic as one of the most negative results of this kind of pricing.

Plenty of women here that are financially successful can afford it, but won't because you wind up feeding the monster, which only makes it more bloated and oversized.

Nice backpedaling. There have been plenty of "housewife" jabs on this board for years long before Runaway Tours ever existed. It's been consistently sexist and demeaning. My point stands. Female fans do not = housewives. And at the same time housewives do not = less intelligent/less contributing citizens.

P.S. I've never been a housewife or a mother. This is the feminist in me standing up for women's rights to choose a lifestyle.

Ok, lets call them wannabe groupies who are obsessed with Jon and dont care for music....better? Not all housewifes are brainless but many Jon-worrshippers are housewives with a slightly lower IQ I used to be a Jovi fan and MANY women (and men as well) fit into this category. Many Bon Jovi fans aren't the smartest fish in the sea.

Oh forget this whole housewives crap now. It wasn't a term used to offend anyone in particular. If it isn't aimed at you then let it go rather than going on about it.

Back ON topic. I really do hope that RT isn't the new tour scheme. I don't think it will be from what I've seen but I also wouldn't be surprised.

As I have said before. I'd like to do these shows. It's a chance to hear songs I'll never hear live. Acoustic or not... but how anyone can justify these prices baffles me.

I work two pretty good jobs AND still live at home yet couldn't come close to affording these. Not even the lowest priced one.

If JBJ sings another song on the lines of 'work for the working man' then I hope, somehow, we get a message across to him on how much of a joke he/they've become.
