Thanks for getting me started with looking at U2's setlists, Brian. Here's an example of consecutive shows that weren't in the same famous location:

10/06/2009 Georgia Dome - Atlanta, Georgia, USA
Breathe
Get On Your Boots
Mysterious Ways
Beautiful Day / Blackbird (snippet)
I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For / Stand By Me (snippet)
Stuck In A Moment You Can't Get Out Of
No Line On The Horizon
Magnificent
Elevation
Until The End Of The World
The Unforgettable Fire
City Of Blinding Lights
Vertigo
I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight / Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin) (snippet)
Sunday Bloody Sunday / People Get Ready (snippet)
MLK
Walk On / You'll Never Walk Alone (snippet)
encores:
One / Amazing Grace (snippet)
Where The Streets Have No Name / All You Need Is Love (snippet)
Ultra Violet (Light My Way)
With Or Without You
Moment of Surrender

10/09/2009 Raymond James Stadium - Tampa, Florida, USA

Breathe
Get On Your Boots
Mysterious Ways
Beautiful Day / Blackbird (snippet)
I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For / Stand By Me (snippet)
Stuck In A Moment You Can't Get Out Of
No Line On The Horizon
Magnificent
Elevation
Until The End Of The World
The Unforgettable Fire
Mofo (snippet) / City Of Blinding Lights
Vertigo
I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight / Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin) (snippet) / Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough (snippet)
Sunday Bloody Sunday / Get Up Stand Up (snippet)
MLK
Walk On
encores:
One / Amazing Grace (snippet)
Where The Streets Have No Name
Ultra Violet (Light My Way)
With Or Without You
Moment of Surrender

Not one actual song changed, just some of those "snippets." Impressive. No wonder the friend who went to Chicago to see them looked at me like I was insane when I asked if she was getting tickets to both nights. And no wonder she didn't bother to also see them right here in Atlanta.

well...the way i see it is that bon jovi is constantly going downhill sadly...i really really hoped that they would put some effort and make this tour unforgetable ..but it's just another money making tour...

and let's face it...u2 are the biggest band on earth at the moment and will always be bigger than bon jovi...IF there is a concert that everyone should see in their life, than it's an U2 concert....(btw i'm a huge BJ fan and i'm not U2 fan)..this is the reality guys....

Fine - go enjoy that U2 show. I'd rather watch grass grow than listen to Bono . . . sing or preach.

Now I'm just ****ing laughing. Even if you had a valid point, ever, which you haven't, anything close to credibility is just...dude, it's gone now. This is over.

I don't know 1 person who actually likes U2 anymore, nor do I know 1 person going to see any of their shows.

I went to a U2 show. I was bored. I like U2's early music, but everything after Achtung Baby has been boring. And after listening to Bono preach about God only knows what for 90 minutes, I'd had enough.

Thank you for proving my point!
So, four different songs in a set played in the EXACT same order isn't autopilot when U2 do it, but it is when Bon Jovi do it because U2 have a prettier light show? And FTR, I saw U2 on the 360 Tour as well, and I was very impressed. Doesn't change the fact that Bon Jovi (shitty setlists and all) have played more songs on this tour so far than U2 did in all of '09.

Just throwing out that I do like U2, and I did. Though I find HTDAAD and NLOTH very disappointing, outside of a couple of songs. I do think Achtung Baby and All That You Can't Leave Behind are great albums, and The Joshua Tree is very good as well.

1. Not having anything to do with Bon Jovi at all, you honestly think NLOTH is that good? Really? Outside of 2 songs, I think it's quite mediocre honestly.

2. NLOTH flopped commercially as well.

3. Once again, EVERY single person whose seen a show raves about the passion and drive in the performances.
