Bon Jovi did 5 stadium tours since 2000,with about 80-100 concert per tour. They sold out a vast majority of their stadium shows every tour and are now having their biggest tour since KTF.On the other hand,U2 had only 2 tours last decade, with 5 years in between. If Bon Jovi's last tour was in 2005,in 2011 every corner of the world would want to see them and every show would be completely sold out.Still,Jovi is THE biggest touring act in the world, and they'll probably be for some time now.In 2011 all stadium shows in Japan,Asia,South America,Australia and probably most in Europe will be sold out.

Thank you! But some peoples dont understand that! Bon Jovi are just simply one of the best live act ever. Mybe they should stop for 5 years and then do a tour for prove it, how to completly sold out, but we dont want that aa .

BTW, slightly off topic (but what in this thread isn't at this point) but coming from someone whose seen all three very recently, Springsteen puts on the best live show on the planet, better than Bon Jovi or U2.

At the end of the day, I think it all comes down to personal preference.
First and foremost, I'm a Bon Jovi fan and seeing them live is still after 26 years of watching , a great pleasure for me. This is the only band I see more than once a tour.
Bruce, I love live but once a tour is enough for me. I like the music but honestly don't find myself ever playing his stuff much, he's strictly a live act for me.
U2, well I'm just not a fan really. They have made some great music I know, but they just never really resonated with me. I see them once a tour because I have a dear friend who loves them, I enjoy it (except when Bono gets on his soapbox about something).

I agree with that, and I also think it does come down to personal taste. I mean, Green Day is one of the best live bands I've ever seen, but if you're not a fan of their music, it's hard to appreciate.

Jon is tired of rain like munich 2001 and other famous wet shows ... He doesn't like this for his hair

Default Tour

Just have one question.
Tour artists of the decade, no. 9, 249 and 244 sellout shows, near half of a shows missing.
In this decade Bon Jovi will have 520 shows, sooooooo.............
Does anybody know anything about that?

awesome? best of years?
i've seen two times: milan 2005 and 2009.
his voice is very good, but also very throaty and his famous "falsetto" is lost forever.
very good singer, good shape...but not incredible.

and the rest of the band?. a lot of mistakes in each songs, very lower order music arrangement

bon jovi are very musicians, u2 not at all

Hi everyone!!

Wow I haven't posted here since the BJ shows @ Giants back in '06.. or did I post during the Prudential run..?.. hm don't remember but anyway..

I couldn't find a clear photo of the stage setup.. I see there's the main stage and a circular ramp with the pit in the middle. I am looking at tickets for Giants in sec 6.. my question is, if anyone knows and maybe after tonight's show someone would know.. is sec 6 behind the ramp? I've seen two different seating charts and according to one the front part of sec 6 extends up to the stage.. where the closer rows are, of course.. whereas seating chart #2 shows two more ramps attached to the circular ramp and extending to the lower levels on the left and right.. meaning sec 6 would be behind the ramps.

If anyone knows I'd greatly appreciate it! Nice to be here again, and after a few minutes of lurking it's cool to see some of the regulars from a few years ago still here.
