Nothing is said about a tour yet. I don't know if they tour next year and concentrate to the things at the moment that are sure. Meaning the box set.

just read on bonjovi.nl that in a german newspaper the manager from the olympic stadium in Berlin, Germany told U2 and Bon Jovi are gonna play that stadium in 2005. it's 98% sure they are gonna play it.

It#s anything but 98 % sure, this we learned in the past very well.

Don't read anything into it that isn't there. In this newspaper article only stands that U2 and Bon Jovi have asked for the Olympic stadium. That doesn't mean that it will happen. I just remember to last year where a concert in Braunschweig was already advertised at BJ.com and it didn't happen.

Asking if a stadium is free and booking it are totally different pairs of shoes. That they asked for it just means that they plan to tour maybe. The stadiums don't wait for Mr. Bongiovi to come and if they plan to maybe tour they have to ask for stadiums early enough to make sure to get it. But this doesn't mean that they are really touring. It could be an ask for in case that.

A few years back they already had signed a contract with the Festhalle in Frankfurt but the tour didn't happen. So even a signed contract doesn't mean anything.

thanx for the info. I believe these things when they turn up in the newspaper, but obviously I should know better. At least we know that Bon Jovi is looking into the possibility of playing Europe in 2005. That is enough reason for me to start saving a little bit more!
But we have to wait and see I guess...

Someone on another board posted today that she has got an e-mail from Clear Channel UK, which should be the company that promotes Bon Jovi-tours, with an announcement for upcoming ticket sales later this year for U2 and Bon Jovi. The same two bands as in the paper in Germany.

Didn't Jon say "see you 2005" at Giants Stadium at the end of the Bounce Tour?!
