That would be awesome... though 700 seaters are going to be so small! I can't even imagine a venue being that tiny.

Really cool!
But I think it would be a concert only to Backstage members, you only can buy tickets with your Backstage Card paying US$ 250/300...

There's no way they can fill a venue with 700 backstage members. And no, I'm not saying backstage doesn't have 700 members, but the pit often doesn't have 700 members on it's own.

when they would do only one show in europe we sure know there are going to be more then 700 pple backstagers. Look at Shepards. It was not that easy to get tix. Don`t ask prices too.

i think it's a good idea- and i think the post is a hoax... if bj made a show with 700 tix to sell they'd be sold out before the tix are really available- i can think of shows with less than 10,000 ppl- and i don't think jon would do this- he's the guy that moans about playing the hits over and over again and then gets angry when fans ask him to play different songs.... it's a nice idea (the return of songs like lil bit of soul, livin in sin, without love, never say goodbye, the entire these days record....) but it's an utopical one-...

I agree. I honestly doubt there are 700 backstage members in Seattle alone

Also, I just can't see the 700 people venues. Seattle for example has A LOT of venues, but nothing in that range (that I am aware of). It is either a small theater with 1500 seats or a club with 300. So, I'd expect them to do a small theater like all the other bands that aren't interested in arena type venues.

Also, I don't think it's a money issue in terms that they can't afford to play a small venue like that. There are a lot of BIG named acts that play small venues and they may play 2 or 3 in a row, just because they like playing small places - if Bob Dylan and Pearl Jam can afford it, so can BJ.

Oh, and the $250/300 a ticket price won't fly here.

Yes oink oink. But that's not what's been said here, so what's that got to do with anything?

But if they start playing those boxset songs, it'll mean that this Bobby Bandiera and Jeff Kazee will join them on tour. No thank you.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

I've heard that Bobby and Jeff will be joining the band on tour with or without these "intimate" sessions (which sound like a dumb idea anyway)
