Default more the merrier, need another date

who gives a shit if u attend the 1st night or the last night of the tour its a bon jovi show and its gonna be ace.The demand is there, a lot of people who got seats for wembley and cant get in at milton keynes will be glad of a seat at hull.2 nights at wembley is 90 000 each night whereas milton keynes is 65 000 a night so another stadium date makes sense.Yes they should be touring spain and australia where they could easily fill stadiums even italy and sweden but stop u bitching, im going to 2nd night at milton keynes i couldnt care less if theres a night after at hull,if theres demand its great. But come on bon jovi there are millions of fans in countries where the album hit num 1 and 2 who arnt getting a gig, here in the uk were getin spoilt this summer, cant wait for me 1st at glasgow

I have mixed feelings about this *tentative* date but what I've been wondering since I first heard about it is why this show is being added like at the last minute.

What the do you want?

They didnt sayed at any point that some date is going to be the last one in Europe, in here, in there... It always was "more to come" ... You (and I) wanted more Europe dates, more show, and now when you got them you are annoyed...

You should just concentrated on Bon Jovi and their show, not on beeing last, first, or something... If you want to be on last concert buy your tickets month before they are in Europe, they will not announce more dates then...

OMG

Since my exam schedule seems to be done on May 26th I'm still thinking about which show to go beside Düsseldorf and since flying to London is considerably cheaper than flying to Munich (strange airlines, how can be domestic flights more expensive than externa ones? i'll never get this...) I was wondering where is HULL, how far is it from London, how long does it take to get there from London and how expensive is it and also, did they hire Doc McGhee again?

Thank you!

Trains from London leave from London Kings Cross Station and journey is approx. 3 hours (depending on the time, you'll need to change trains but the waiting time in not too much). Hull is on the east cost, kind of same distance to Manchester or Leeds (from London), but just on the east cost. Hope this helps!

Although Im annoyed that MK is no longer the last European date to say that Hull has been added so the band members can swell their bank balances is simply untrue.

The greedy sods here are Aeg Live the promoters.

Heres how it works:-

Jovi want to tour so they invite promoters to tender bids to promote the tour. Highest bidding promoter wins. In this case it was AEG Live.

The Aeg contract would have paid the guys a set fee for the European tour regardless of whether the dates sell out or not. For arguements sake lets say each band member is paid $4 Million.

The contract would tie the band into a maximum number of shows. For arguements sake say 20 European shows.

Its then up to AEG to schedule UPTO 20 Euro shows as they see fit to recoup costs and make a profit.

All ticket sales $ go to AEG. Depending on the contract merchandising sales also normally go to the promoter.

Maybe with the refunds dished out because of Wembley (both cancellation & difference in ticket price) means that AEG are going to have a shortfall on their initial profit forecast hence the added date in Hull.
