Look at the setlists from Monsters Of Rock, Rock amd RIng and Rock im Park 1995 or Heineken Jammin' 2003. The later I attended and it was great to see Metallica, Bon Jovi and Iron Maiden on 3 consecutive days. It was also extremely cool to see guys in Metallica t-shirts looking up on the screens and watching Sambora kicking everything there is to kick out of his ****in' guitar and then saying "wow".
i cant remember ive been tryin to think about it all day i think i heard it on virgin radio because we listen to that in work via a webstream and thats the only place i can think it may have been, its been bugging me because i can hear him saying you guys have some festivals here we might play next year..i suppose we will find out in 2007

yeah that was on virgin. it was the same interview when he said that maybe hull wasn't his best performance (!).

i think the dj asked whether they had ever considered doing the festivals and jon just kind of said they had talked about it in the past.

i'd love to see them at monsters of rock.

No, you're right about that as far as I know (don't really follow the charts that much any more), but i find it hard to imagine that theyd embark on a whole new project (as opposed to say the HAND bonus live CD or the Bounce QVC DVD) and only release it to certain markets

At least if they hit Europe, they could do more rock songs. I doubt the Country album will be released there, they gotta stay visable. And then they could open Wembley. Who knows..
I deffo think they'll wanna open Wembley, and the latest update says it'll be ready June 2007, which being summer is the perfect time for them to come and do an open air concert! If they do that though, I'm guessing it'll be a one-off show, not part of a tour - the next tour will follow the next album, which, being as how it's not even been recorded yet, will be at least two years away, if not three.

I'm keeping everything crossed for Wembley next summer!!!

2008 is the 25th anniversary of the band. I would expect them to celebrate with a tour, but I don't see them touring earlier...

They could do their own one day festival the way the Foo Fighters did at Hyde Park this year ... at Wembley, with like 3 or 4 other bands on the bill too, if they got decent bands and still played a reasonable length of time (unlike the Foos, bloody 1 hour and 20 minutes), that could be great!
