Aloha !

No, it was AEG sueing Wembley with Wembley sueing the constructors and the list goes on and on. They'll only play Wembley if AEG doesn't promote the next tour or AEG gets their money back over what they lost when the 2 dates were cancelled.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

I hope they don't play Wembley...the staff and security there are the pits!

Surely AEG Got their money back from the Milton Keynes Gigs, the attendance was pretty much the same. Plus Milton Keynes is much cheaper to play than Wembley Stadium. So why bother sueing?? If they'd played wembley this time, there'd be much more buzz about the gigs!!

Sadly, it doesn't work like that. Picture it like booking a hotel for a holiday at one place and then needing to re-arrange your holiday to another place. You always lose money over it. And they lost a lot over Wembley.

Sebastiaan

I always heard rumours of financial loss. But never really took it seriously!! I thought Milton Keynes and the lower costs may have made up for it!!

Hope they do make it back to Wembley.

Wembleys ok, good while the gig was on, but nightmare getting out. There only seemed to by one way out when I went to see Muse there. 70,000 odd people trying to get through the same street was ridicolous. The police and event staff didnt have a clue what to do.

Heh, it's bad enough seeing a band at the arena, when I saw Metallica at the stadium I must have been queuing for a train for an hour or more
