I think you misunderstood me Terri. Not saying the play was right AT ALL. But, Faulk clearly had the first down upon replay, and had BB not wasted the 2 time-outs the Patriots had for no reason, it would have been reversed, no doubt in my mind.

No, I understood that you were saying that, and I disagree. Yes, Faulk caught the ball, but he didn't have control until he was short of the first down. That's how I saw it.

I just remain in shock that NE didn't punt. You ALWAYS punt in that situation! It's a no-brainer.

At first I thought you were right, but after watching the replay, after the second juggle, he gained control, and his foot and the ball were clearly over the yellow line. Honestly, I couldn't care less. The cal was wrongwrongwrongwrongwrong to go for it there.

I got agree with Terri too. I don't think Faulk ever got the first down. Also, you can't pinpoint the refs and that single call for the loss. It was going for a 4th and 2 on their own 28 yard line instead of punting it and making the Colts go 70 yards. Not even Andy Reid would do that.

I'm not, I FULLY blame BB for that inane play call for losing the game.

I agree the call was wrong... I was surprised they went for it in that situation, it was NE game to lose and they did .....unlucky

mmm now I have to read the thread back to see if BJ music was heard, I didnt hear any.
