Matchbox 20, Live, Skunk Anansie, Van Halen, Thunder, Toploader (they were quite big at the time). These aren't exactly unknowns.

Yeah right, Nickelback headlining Wembley Stadium, I think not. I'll be kind of surprised if Bon Jovi can sell out 2 nights at Wembley Stadium though. I went to the 2nd night at Wembley on the Crush tour and it was by no means full, there were probably still about 60,000 people there but there were noticeable gaps. That had the added kudos of being the last ever show at such a historic venue and Bon Jovi's stock has fallen since then. This stadium is bigger also.
