I agree this was not the best of shows indeed.
A quick summary as I experienced it:

Last man standing was unbelievably great. Tico hitting the drums in that tempo nearly made my heart explode out of sheer enthusiasm. I didn;t hear them so clearly in dusseldorf because I was in the middle of the stadium, but standing 6 feet from the stage made the drums that much louder.

The next few songs were boring for me. Hearing them in the front standing between generally lazy people without any enthusiasm or fun factor whatsoever just disappointed me to say the least.

Story of my life, complicated and I'd die for you were cool enough, but I missed the excitement in the pit.

Radio was a definite highlight for me. The chorus being toned down was a big downer as always, but the bridge is where it got exciting. The piano started and Jon started to talk and I said to myself oh, this is where Jon is going to magically create this magical atmosphere out of the blue. But 10 seconds later I found myself actually drawn in by it. He has a talent for it that's for sure. The 3rd chorus was that much better after this moment.

Welcome I don;t like as a song, but everyone sang this along, which was at least something positive.
Hand rocked hard, another highlight. Hard too sing though, it's a wonder Jon himself can keep up with the song.

Who says keeps annoying me, the it's allright is killing the song, it seems like a kids day out when people keep singing that.

It's my life was good as always everybody singing along.

After this things got worse pretty quickly though. Jon and Richie came up on stage with acoustic guitars announcing they were going to play something off New Jersey, so I thought love for sale or even ride cowboy ride. I wasn;t expecting the TLFR stuff in Europe.. but they did. The songs are real CRAP, I just started making jokes at that point with the girl I was with to kill the boredom of the show. Just as I thought it couldn;t get any worse they played Bed of Roses with these horrendous "sounds" that kept on interupting the already awful version... I was stunned of disbelief that they actually thought this was good music...

Anyway, after this everything they played was from here on was going to be great to me. so.. Bad medicine with Gloria (COOL) , Raise your hands and prayer all good. Hearing this last one in Dusseldorf was waaay better because the crowd was actually singing along to it. I assume it wasn;t this bad in the middle of anywhere else than where I was standing, but the people there were just ****ing lazy.

Encore was pretty good. At saturday night Jon tried the "I'm alive!!" part again from the 2003 tour in the middle which got me excited. Bells of freedom is a cool song in concert as everybody starts swaying from left to right on the beat/flow of the song, really funny to see.

Rest of the show was excellent except for sleep. They should drop this song or play it decently.

Keep the faith could have used some jungle stuff but it was already good as it was.

So, all in all:
Good show but nothing spectaculair. Setlist not as good as expected.
It didn't rain at all, which was really surprising so that was also good and I laughed my ass off the whole day so for that matter it was a good experience anyway.

Thats a recent pic indeed.
The banner of Laura and Taija is the same. The one next to it with the smirk is mine. I was right behind them but must be sitting down or so at that moment.

Yes they are coming to MK
