As far as I know, Philly is it, which is why I'm going. We got 10 nights in the fall and I think that is it for us until (maybe) Giants this summer. There are the Mohegan Sun shows in Connecticut about a week later but I'm not that fond of casino shows. They are convienient if you are staying at the casino (and the Mohegan Sun is a beautiful and expensive place to stay). But they usually have a curfew and the shows tend to be a little shorter and more bland than other shows in my opinion.

I've been to Philadelphia shows over the years and have never been overly impressed but we are planning to go for both nights and get away for a mini-vacation. It's been a long winter LOL.

Kathleen, would you know if this is true for Vegas too. I know it was said the HAND show in Vegas was amazing and almost 3 hours. Granted it was the last show of the US leg. So I was just wondering if the rules (curfew) are different for a casino show in Vegas compared to say Mohegan Sun or the Hollywood, FL Hard Rock show. Thanks!

Honestly - I don't know about Vegas. I do know that for the run of the mill casino shows the prices tend to be a bit higher and the setlists a bit shorter. Not a great combination in my opinion.

Aloha !

Shows in a casino tend to last no longer than 2 hours, simply because the casino owners want the crowd to go gambling, and don't want them to spend all of their energy in the show. I know Bryan Adams cut his show short too for the same reason when he played a few casino's last year.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Kathleen, do you get your husband to go to all the shows? Mine will go to only 1 on each leg of the tour, arena and Giants. You seem to go to so many. I was just wondering if you need company.

Sometimes my husband is more of a fan than I am. He goes to all shows and loves 'em. To be fair - we also use some of the shows as an excuse to go to a different city and take a mini-vacation. We saw Bruce in Boston last November and it was a nice getaway before the Christmas craziness.

So this coming weekend we will drive to Philly - and go to South Philadelphia for some great Italian food and then go to a few shows. It will be fun even if the shows suck - which I personally hope that they don't.

If you would like some company I/we are always up for a meet up before or after the concert - a beer or a drink is always good One of the benefits learned from the Bruce crowd years ago was meeting people at the shows from various places in the world. Meeting someone new from Jersey is good too

My husband and kids are big Jovi fans, but he can only take 1 show at a time. Last year at Giants, he went to one, my daughter went to one and then one with a friend. I did get to go to 2 at the Pru Center. My son went to 3. But he wouldn't take old mom with him and his friends. He has been converting all his friends to BJ and they all loved the shows. We're hoping to get Bruce tix, but so far I haven't been lucky. I keep trying. I'd love to go to more, but sometimes I can't find anyone else to go. Now if they would just announce the dates at Giants, we can start planning. That's a great idea to make a mini vacation out of it. I have to suggest that to him. Thanks.
Eileen
