That kind of touring has been going on for years and years, actually... Taija and Laura just were the ones who made a huge deal out of it. It was a lot of fun to watch them put it all together, though, and even more fun to join them on their tour. Despite all the grief Ticketb'stard made us go through...

As a phenomenon, though, travelling from show to show and even going to see some gigs in other countries is old news, so to speak. I can't remember how it went in the '80s with some ppl I know, but I do know for sure that there are some fans who have been doing multiple shows in multiple countries and even multiple continents at least since the early or the mid-1990s. I did my first small-scale tour in 1998 when I went to see 3 of Jon's solo shows in Germany, and in 2000 me and my friend went to 16 shows in Europe... And in 2001 I went to 10 shows. The only difference is that I never really publicised my plans or made a big deal out of my tours. And the same goes for dozens and dozens of other "well-travelled" fans from all over the world.

wow thats kool. Bloody hell, how many shows have you been to in total, inclyding solo gigs?

I was just using T&L as an example, because everyone on here can refer to them

As i said, i cant wait to the next tour just to have the chance to do what you guys did. It was a tiring trip and we were only out for a week. You guys must have been completely exhausted at the end of it. It took us a full week to come down off such a huge high.

We weren't even supposed to do this, we made the pages just for our own reference, for links and such. But as always, things get out of hands with T and me But thanks for the nice words I don't think I'll ever forget the night after G-gow, it was so funny, I don't even know why exactly...

And we weren't doing the most number of shows on this tour either, no way. Birgit and Kathrin did -what- 16 shows... Must've been exhausting. A lot of people were doing 10-12 shows too. The only difference between them and us was that they were able to go home to their beds every once in a while and we didn't/couldn't.

well i sort of didn't really get down from the high but there's a reason - and that's because HP (to the minute) also marked the end of my year at college (a very difficult and expensive year)... so from the show after picking my things up and pissing off my parents because i was so late i just went back home to Manchester and have been here ever since, slightly disorientated

slept in a sleeping bag for the last week (but that's because i keep forgetting i haven't made my bed) - i remember at 2am when it's too late and i can't be bothered
