The highest note in LOAP before the modulation ("key change") is a high C. The same note that is in the long "livin' on a prayer" right before the solo. With the bands' instruments tuned down half (or a whole) step, he can hit it, usually.
After the modulation (where LOAP goes from Em/G to Gm/Eb), the highest note would be D#. Jon hasn't hit that live in decades, even with down-tuned instruments.
