Maybe you think it's stupid...but it's what they are doing, isn't it? Obviously they don't think so. Also, who would want to do an extensive tour around the World with a war going on? And not the war on terror, but Iraq? How could you blame them? Would you want to be away from your family for an extended amount of time? What if something happened, and they were touring overseas? It's much more managable for them from here, whether you want to see it or not. It's not always about what the fans want, you know, but that's what you're making it in to. What about what the band wants? It's not important, so long as they play in your country? Now *that's* stupid.

Maybe not. You're nitpicking some small detail. Maybe they had the best intentions, but due to circumstances beyond any of our control, they had to alter it. Who really knows? It's all speculation, anyway.

Really? You really think it's "nitpicking some detail" when a band that oh so proudly claims to be "selling out stadiums worldwide" and "playing anywhere where there's electricity" is calling something a "world tour" even though they're only playing in what, 10 countries in total? Or 11 countries if you include Australia? Even Bruce Springsteen is doing a more extensive tour than that, and he's generally a lot more of an "American artist" than Bon Jovi have ever been.

I'll say this- while Australia in December 2002 was 'officially' part of the Bounce Tour, playing three 45 minutes shows does not really make up an Australian 'leg' of the tour IMO and probably most others, not when our nearest neighbour in terms of touring, Japan, gets six 2 1/2 hours+ shows.
