I happened to remember a few posts, yours one of them about some oddities, and then when i read the 30Yrs Gone, The Real Story Article today this stood out. It seems to fit.

8. Someone who has a lot to gain–I won’t mention names–is orchestrating a full-on media takedown of Jon Bon Jovi, and they’re taking advantage of the fact that Jon, as Richie Sambora’s employer, is legally prevented from saying anything about Richie’s absence from the band. Even worse, the people orchestrating the attack are using unsuspecting, well-meaning Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora fans to do it."

Does anybody know the validity of the writer? It is a sincere and nice piece, but sometimes it comes off like a fan just hoping for the best but making it sound like their in the know. Other time admittedly it seems as if this person does at least have a passing knowledge of the band and industry. Would be intresting to know how legit the writer is.

I C&P part of his Linkin below. IF he is just a fan, he seems to have set up a rather elaborate plan on the web. Also shows his web site, which I have not seen yet. He "feels" the most real to me thus far as he doesn't seem to have anything to gain and he doesn't come across as a zealot for either side of things.

Summary

***See my bio and list of artists at http://www.randireed.com.***

***In order to maintain the privacy of the companies and colleagues I work with (and to keep them from getting spammed and stalked by fans of certain artists) I only list my own company under employment. My detailed resume and employment information is not published publicly.***

I've worked at the Platinum level of the music industry since 1992, with a heavy emphasis on live music from all sides of the contract: agent, artist, artist manager, and talent buyer / concert promoter. Before I worked behind the scenes I started out as a singer. I hated it but am grateful for the experience, because it helps me teach artists how to to prevent problems no one would believe even exist unless they'd been there!

I excel at handling confidential information and finding solutions to tough music business problems. I'm experienced in rock, alternative, pop, country, and AC and enjoy guest speaking for college music business classes.

Specialties: Emphasis on live music industry, Troubleshooting, Problem solving, Management performance audits, Artist security consults, Artist Development, Live Performance Coaching, Image development, PR, Branding, Marketing, Writing, Public speaking, Guest Speaker.

It's a bunch of "facts" from "inside information" he can't talk about due to whatever reasons he can come up with. Anyone with half a brain and a bit of common sense can write a similar article, and just because it's on a website written by a reporter doesn't make it any more legit than most of what's been posted here. As a matter of fact, it reads like these dreadful epistels of Tony Kuzminski or whatever his name is. Because if there's one thing many fans like, it's articles written in a way they can agree with what's being said, and then big up said reporter or writer. "That guy is a great writer, he writes what I think". Only to forget that some stuff written down doesn't make much sense anyway, but hey, IT'S AN ARTICLE SO IT MUST BE TRUE.

Think of it, to have this guy, out of all sources available, come up with an article that, when it comes down to it, only says things like "Don't believe in tabloids" and then actually fabricates a story build around the exact rumours he tries to disqualify is laughable at best. Down the line he's just another fan with a theory. If there'd really be some information available it'd be in Q, Rolling Stone magazine and the likes. Not musicbizadvice.com. If anythng, this article will probably be cited over and over again by others to say "We've got confirmation, oh boohoo Richie you're drinking again" , trying to hold on to every single bit of "official" confirmation that the tabloids were wrong about "their" band, followed by massive requests on Twitter for Richie to lay down the bottle and "support" his illness.

That's all the "" I can come up with for now.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

This is basically a more detailed version of what RadarOnline posted a few hours ago. They either got a scoop on what was about to be posted or she was inspired by that article and then wrote her own.

It's not really important among all that she said, but I wonder why so many people seem to forget that the first leg of the tour actually had Richie playing and it was from the second one onwards that Phil X replaced him.

The media contact for Randi Reed is Jinjer Hudley who on twitter claims her to be a Jon Bon Jovi die hard fans
So anything in the article by Randy needs to be taken with a grain of salt
