Huh- OK. I forget how it all went down. So between the 18th (Lubbock) and the Calgary show something went down. (Other than Nikki Lund).

Hiyooooo!

The shame of it is, even IF Richie ever comes back, he could never sing that song again. Not with a straight face anyway.

Sad but true.

Feels sad looking back his return back in 2007.

What happened to Richie (2011). 2 years ago he is seemingly fired up about the band and in 24 months its over? WTF happened to him? Richie, quote, “I don’t think we know what the hell’s gonna happen [after the tour]. We’re just going out there and working our asses off and enjoying it, actually being the best band of our lives… we’re not gonna quit.

“We’re gonna keep on going and writing new, great songs… go in the studio and make great records… evolve more… and get back into stadiums and give people a great, great show.”

Richie also acknowledges that JON BON JOVI wants to do a solo album after the tour… and he’s cool with that. He says, quote, “It’s okay with all of us. We’re all gonna stick together. We’re like a gang.” http://kygl.com/richie-sambora-wants...olling-stones/

I think the plan was for them both to do a solo album then somewhere along the line either Jon pulled out of his or it morphed into a band record and the machine went back to work sooner than the rest anticipated.

No, but I can see why it was his last show. He plays and sings his heart out and the vast majority of people in the background remain seated. Even though IBTFY was obviously a massive hit in the U.S., people still can't be bothered. Little wonder he left
