This is demo with Richie or Phil?. The song is written by Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora.

In other recordings, John Shanks said he recorded keyboards on some songs of albums. And it's no secret when using loops drums, when Tico is out.

I miss the old times that they recorded albums themselves. I hate the era John Shanks.

Jon has killed the human component of the band. The CEO is an idiot.

I still don't know where we as fans stand...

Richie claims he is still a member of the band but will only do the odd shows. Seriously? Would Jon stand for that? Is he going to be on the next tour or can he not be bothered touring at all anymore.

Could the odd show here and there mean he wants to do shows like his solo tour?

What surprises me is that still a lot of people are defending Richie (not so much on this board apart from a few) but I have so many people on twitter defending him.

HE walked out on the board. It makes no difference if he didn't want to do the tour or not because he has a mouth, he should of just stood his ground and said 'no' before the start of it. If he wasn't happy with his input in 'What About Now' or the final product of it, then he should of said and stood his ground. He hasn't done that, he has copped out far too late.

The whole Ava thing is pathetic, in my opinion. Yeah, I can imagine he does want to see his daughter, but don't the rest want to see their families? Of course they do. He may have missed out on his daughters childhood but the band are in the same boat. Richie is still going to other places for his fashion crap and his horse riding weird thing or whatever it is, so he can't be spending that much time with her.

I'm just so confused. The quotes have give us a bit more information but I still can't trust him. Whether he is telling the truth or not, I don't know...

It's admirable that he's accepting responsibility for leaving, but I'm not buying it was for the reason he said. Not two months into the tour.

A day or two before the 2nd leg was starting up he tweeted about getting back on the road. As of then, he was 100% planning to be in Calgary.

The official announcement on bon jovi.com said he wouldn't be on the 2nd leg. It didn't say for the rest of the tour, it didn't say until the European leg, it didn't say for an indefinite period of time, it said THAT leg. As of then, it appeared that the band expected him back for leg 3.

Richie stated in interviews he wanted or expected to be back for the 4th of July show in London. Then he said in that rumor fix interview that it's "not true" that he wouldn't be back on this tour. He said he planned to be back in September and that they were "close" (to working out the problem). Then he tweeted that the September comment was his "hope".

Either Richie was blowing smoke up the fan's asses or he honestly expected to be touring but there was/is a problem between him and Jon (or the band) that wasn't resolved by those dates he said he planned to be back by. My gut tells me it's that latter.

As much as I dislike Nikki Lund, it's pretty obvious she and the fashion line are not the reason he left the tour. He has simply used this unexpected time off to work at his other job. Same goes for this horse race thing. He's not choosing that above Bon Jovi, he is filling up his time since Bon Jovi is obviously not an option right now. If it was he would've been back for leg 3, or at least by September, as he said in interviews that he hoped.

To believe what he said the reason is just about not wanting to do what the band is doing right now is naive. I firmly believe there is much more to it than that. Is it the money dispute? It it the intervention rumor? Who knows. But it's not as simplistic or cut and dry as 'I don't like the album so I don't want to play this tour even though I did for four months of promo and tour shows'. There's more.

He didn't say that and that Lisa has got it wrong. If that was true, it would have been addressed. He never said creative difference at all.

Someone on twitter asked Matt about the future of the band. Here is his reply:

That's the first kind of confirmation we've gotten that they're taking a few years off after this at least.

Give it a few months after the tour and Jon will want another album/tour
