Hear the interview with Foo Fighters. Taylor (the drummer), he enjoyed much playing with a cover band (of Police) than with the Foo Fighters on his entire musical career, that's honesty.

Everything can be compatible with an adequate margin of time. "What About Now / Because We Can Tour" is not the correct case.

I'm just saying ... Richie is guilty and Jon too.
I just don't see what Jon is guilty of, he's done the same thing in the same timeline frame for more than a decade, if Richie didn't want couldn't do it this time out then it was up to him to speak up prior to the tour and say so.

We all know that the Edge comment was taken out of context, and the bottom line is here that Richie just stopped showing up for work. I run a bar when a member of my staff just doesn't show up they lose their job. Richie lucked out he still has his when he wants to commit and go back to it. Lucky guy.
A rock band is not like working in a bar, friend, with all due respect to your profession. If your employee has worked 30 years in your business, is part of your success, and is a great friend, as a "brother", and a no-show day at work because you have personal problems, then you think two times, before being fired.

My theory is that Richie had this conversation before starting the tour, but Jon did not listen, or perhaps jon deceive to Richie promising him something that never came, as Aftemath songs on the tour. Jon and Richie were seen very tense from the start of the promotion, so Jon should have known this would happen. Even he admitted he was not surprised that Richie was not presented in Calgary, three hours before the show.

Call me a conspirator, I do not care. But I'm not so stupid to swallow that Richie is the only asshole, and Jon's decisions are correct.

true enough, but leaving your band standing on the stage with their proverbial 'hats in their hands' is a pretty shitty thing to do to your "brothers". Not being able to just come back on tour when you want may well have been the price of that stunt and a pretty fair one IMO.

No one has said that Jon was perfect, we all know he's a workaholic, driven SOB. But this situation is all Richie from start to finish. Do you really think that if Jon had known Richie was going to bail that he would not have had Phil already in Calgary?? I think what didn't surprise him was Richies all of a sudden out of the blue decision, since in recent years Richie seems to change his mind about what he's doing like he changes his underwaer.

I don't think you are a conspirator... I think you are probably pretty close to being right. But that still doesn't change the fact that Richie left.

If Richie is as big a part of Bon Jovi as you say he is (and I think we all agree), then he has an obligation to be there. Take it to the streets. Take to the fans via twitter. If he's unhappy, do something about it, but he owed it to his fans to show up... that's just my opinion.

Richie could have easily NOT signed the touring contract if he felt Jon wasn't listening plain and simple. He signed and then broke that contract and his commitment.

Jon would have to have fulfilled the wishes of Richie, I do not think money is concerned, but rather of respect, and maybe something related to the promotion of Aftermath.
Of course, he should've bowed down to Richie. That is the obvious answer.

I'm not saying Jon should've pushed for another album/tour cycle so soon, but if Richie wasn't on board with it, he should've bowed out before the tour, or even refrained from participating in the making of the album.

I also think Jon wants a 100% alcohol free Richie on tour and he knows he's not going to get it. JMO
