Because we are his fans. They have achieved a number tour 1, ok, but not all fans were happy however.

In addition, what you prefer? celebrate the 30th anniversary with a new box set? or a dvd/bluray of this turbulent tour?

And this??

A dvd/bluray isn't happening from this tour though so your point isn't really valid.

I would think there are certainly tensions since Richie bailed. Before that, it was probably just the usual stuff anyone has in a band.

Are you saying make a therapy or something? as Metallica in Some Kind of Monster documentary? His name was Phil too.

Metallica with Doc Phil Towle

Bobby and Hugh also are included in that hypothetical therapy?

the new album could be called "Holy God" rather than "St Anger".

I would suspect after leaving the tour, 3 hours before a show, not returning and then travelling around the world doing your own thing, playing Bon Jovi songs at events, yeah they might be tension between the two now.

Sure, would be surprised if there wasn't, but it's the first time Jon sort of admitted that there was the need to talk, like before KTF...

It’s makes just as much sense to deduce that “tensions between at least Jon and Richie after all” were present before Richie’s “leaving the tour, 3 hours before a show, not returning and then travelling around the world doing your own thing, playing Bon Jovi songs at events” and that those tensions are what led to his leaving, rather than being the result of it.

IMO that provides a much more logical explanation of Richie’s actions than arbitrarily assuming that he underwent a total personality change, transforming suddenly from a committed and functional band member for the best part of 30 years into a total flake who had no respect for band, fans, friends, or responsibilities. It would also explain Jon’s lack of surprise when Paul told him that Richie wasn’t going to be in Calgary as well as the mixed messages and tap dancing around the reasons for Richie’s departure by both Richie and the band.

By the way, What About Now has not had any nomination to the grammys. Each album Bon Jovi in this last decade has had several nominations for these awards.

Grammy Nominations

Crush Album

2001 Crush - Best Rock Album
2001 Its My Life - Best Rock Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group

Bounce Album

2003 Everyday - Best Pop Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group
2004 Misunderstood - Best Pop Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group

Have a Nice Day Album

2007 Who Says You Can't Go Home - Best Country Collaboration with Vocals (Won)

Lost Highway Album

2008 Lost Highway - Best Pop Vocal Album
2008 Make a Memory - Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group

The Circle Album

2010 We Weren't Born to Follow - Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals

This year there are few rock albums, they could have had several nominations, but were forgotten with this album and singles.
