If that what he wants to do then fine. So be it.

As discussed the whole band (inc RS) need to vanish for a long time. To me - this kind of small shows look desparate on Richies behalf. But thats just my view. Its like he is saying - look im still here - and (its like) most think who cares - the tour you were meant to be on has been and gone - Apart from the people who call themselves Mrs Sambora or add Bon Jovi to their name on things like facebook. Very odd people.
It was a charity show with legends. Hardly desperate.

If anything I think this shows that Richie still loves what he does. I think these songs with Orianthi show a whole lot more passion, emotion, better guitar playing and just a whole lot more of what Bon Jovi is currently lacking. I'd much rather see an intimate show like this than a BJ show from the recent tour, hands down. And frankly, this version of Prayer is awesome!

Agreed 100%....the only desperation around here comes from repetitive and bitter nay-sayers. Richie's so much better outside of the BJ machine at this present time, which is so very stagnated at the moment.

And I'm definitely an Orianthi fan - embarrassed to say I had never heard of her before, but it's mostly good stuff...

Orianthi posted another photo of the 2 of them on her instagram and said "Can't wait to rock out with Richie Sambora at Sound Wave Festival in Australia"

Not that it even matters anymore, but it's interesting to read this article from the circle tour. Tico is the one who insisted the band needed a long break after that tour but Richie countered that the break shouldn't be too long.

Very interesting read, had forgotten about that interview completely. Makes you wonder how it could've come to this...

Well, Richie forged right on, writing/recording/promoting his solo record. Sure, his decision, but he didn't take the break that others did

It was in reference to the band taking a break.
