It's a bit too literally translated. What he's saying is that he's written 30 songs with Orianthi and has asked his friends to check them out. His best friends wouldn't lie to him, and have admitted that it's going to be something special.

Obviously.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Is that really it? That's amazing, if I did what my best friends told me was good I would be the best writer in the world. Surely that's not a good gauge to make before releasing something.

True friends are better than record companies executives.

I'm not understanding the point of how he's doing it for the music and the fans instead of the money. He cancelled his North American leg in 2012 due to "Throat problems" and never rescheduled them. If he was truly in it for the music and fans he'd make the effort to either just do the shows or reschedule.

Doesnt make much sense to play in an empty room.

Which I could sympathize with if he wasn't making him look more important than he is. I'm not saying he should put out a press release that says "no one gives a crap" but cancelling them and making up a fake ailment with a promise to reschedule is silly. There's lowering ticket prices a bit, there's promoting them longer ahead of time. I saw the ticket chart for the Toronto show, sales were terrible but it wasn't an empty room.

Anyone else notice that Richie is a tweeting fool lately, but hasn't mentioned word one about the new New Jersey release? Why isn't he promoting it? Even if he has unofficially quit, he's still receiving royalties from it. Why shun it? Same with Access All Areas airing tomorrow. Other than singing some Bon Jovi songs at his solo shows, and the noncommittal answer to the media that he may return one day, Bon Jovi is completely off his radar.

The New Jersey demos and Access All Areas would not exist without him. Where is the love Richie? Promote these treasures!

Anyone else bothered that he's ignoring this? Am I the only one?

To me, this is an area where he is D#$%ed if he does D#$%ed if he doesn't. If he were promoting it, would be viewed as purely financial or giving hope where at this moment in time I don't really think there is any of a reconciliation. By not promoting it - it is a continuation of what has by a lot of his statements, (to mainly the more than casual fans) actions and press been just downplaying, even poked fun at what brought him to the dance.
Personally, I'd just as soon him not promote it because it would feel shallow.
