No Richie on current leg of the tour

Here's a link to a news item on this story. Nothing new, just quoting Daily Mail/Evening Standard. The part I thought was interesting is the second last paragraph:

A request for comment from Jon Bon Jovi was not returned, and a representative for Sambora stated that the guitarist is not doing interviews.

So Richie is not doing interviews but he did one for a UK tabloid newspaper?

I can bet Tico and Dave are a bit peeved by the situation - hope they both got a raise! Maybe the difference in what Phil X makes vs. Richie should be split and given to them.

If Richie's "not doing interviews," then it's highly doubtful he said anything to that tabloid.

BTW, I hear Richie singing background on songs on the new CD. I'm actually listening to the CD regularly and he's there.

lol David and Jon both look drunk. No wonder Richie doesn't want to hang out with them anymore. They're both bad influences.

I don't know, I mean... The fashion line thing basically came out on that tabloid. Fans started harassing Richie on Twitter because of it, and the only thing he decided to address about it all is that he's been working on the fashion line for 5 years. If the tabloid reported in quotation marks stuff I've never said to them, I'd sure as hell make sure to say so on Twitter or wherever as well. He didn't. To me, that's indirectly like saying: "yes, that interview is legit".

Not to mention what the article said is actually happening, with him starting to do new promotion or whatever for his fashion line. They reported the truth regarding Jon's quotes, him starting to do new promotion for his fashion line... would they flat out lie about his statements? I don't think so. I wish we knew for certain, 'cause that would help understand a tiny fraction more of it all. But my guts and the two things I pointed out above tell me that article is legit.
