Yeah, you read my mind. I'm just picturing Jon sitting there bored with his laptop, just finished watching The Killers... eyeing all those suggested names on the right... the search bar screaming your name at you right at the top... Yeah, it would definitely take a lot of self-control. LOL

It might be stuff we're not entitled to know, but I wonder why he's so definite about this being his last show. Good luck to him!

Shame that he may only get to meet half the band he started listening to all those years ago. Certainly puts things into perspective. Come on jon and richie!

If by half you mean 4/5 then you are correct. (Let's be honest here - Hugh was more of a member than Alec ever was)

Yeah i hope this doesn't mean they told him he will die soon... Maybe he's also giving up on ever meeting them. Anyway, someone tweet this to Matt so he can do something useful on twitter for once!

The band gets together, to discuss The "Richie Situation".

Richie (with teary eyes and chocked vocals):
"How can I defend?

Jon (looking dead serious and gives him the stink eye):
"Turn around let's turn around!

Richie (looking at Jon with disbelief):
"How can I pretend the signs don't say dead end?

Jon (slaps himself on the face and shakes Richie hard by the shoulders as Richie turns his head away, looking at Bobby keeping a low profile as usual, eating a big slice of pizza):

David and Tico: (David with a smirk on his face and Tico sucking on a big brown Cuban cigar):

Jon (giving Tico the stink eye) murmurs:
"Flying through the stop signs"

David and Tico (Tico hides the cigar behind his back):

Jon (wondering where the hell is Hugh?!):
"Running over bad times"

Hugh continues cleaning his bass guitar like nothing is happening.

David and Tico (David rolls his eyes thinking I don't need this BS, i can be in Broadway now... Tico looks at his watch as he has a golf course to look after):
"Sha La Sha La"

Jon:
"Gunning down the daylight
Counting days like white lines
Holding on for our lives...."

Richie looks at the guys and smiles, and nods, three times.... Bobby, being the human jukebox he is, starts playing the music to "Fast Cars" and the whole band sing together:
