Are we still blaming Richie saying he doesn't care less, doesn't care for fans and letting down his band mates? We all kno the reason why he's not there.... Because Jon is a ****ing prick!!!

And if you think you can compare your job to that of being the songwriter and guitar player in Bon Jovi, I'm afraid you're a bit delusional.

And no, the principle is not the same.
Keep preaching, makes no difference and wont change the minds of those who choose not to keep their heads buried in the sand.

It's good to know from you, oh, almighty one, at least we can bet on a ****in' good porno when they'll get down on it. The second-grader thing never rang true to me. Thanks for enlightening us. The mods can now close the thread.

Considering you have no idea what I do you are the delusional one. I mean you are putting a musician up as a deity. Seriously chill.

I don't think we should mix Richie being MIA on last tour with Richie being MIA this time around.
They're two different things. I'm reading stuff that doesn't really add up, like "health comes first", "nobody blinked when it was for rehab", etc. coupled with "this is the second time in the last two tours", "if I didn't show up for work for the umpteenth time, I'd get fired".

Unless the problem this time around turns out to be alcohol-related like in the past, the two aspects should be kept separate. Yeah, it would be a rather unfortunate coincidence and yes, it would bring people to see Richie as not reliable for the future.
But if we agree that health comes first and he shouldn't be blamed for not working when he was having alcohol problems, then this time the matter should be treated differently, as a first.

I'm not sure I'm getting the point across, I hope I am.

First time around people had a solid reason, drinking/rehab stint. So it was like "oh, ok that's why he's not with the band. Got it." This time no real solid reason has been given, just Richie/Matt's vague tweets and Jon's "sticking to the game plan" interviews.

I won't be disappointed if he doesn't appear, yet I firmly believe he will play some part.

Honestly, I don't think it's alcohol related.
Based on previous evidence, Richie got really out of shape whenever there's an alcohol related issue. He looked perfectly healthy (at least physically) just 2 days before the US leg tour began.

It's exactly this kind of remark that gets people started up. You're covering a lot of ground there, friend. Could you be a little more specific and maybe provide sources for what you know?

(And I really wish people would stop speaking for me. "We all" know nothing of the kind. Actually, I could have just stopped with 'We all know nothing." Unless, maybe... do you know something "we all" don't? Care to share with the class?)
