From 1984 to 1990 that's a valid point, but from February of 1990 to December of 1991, the band was apart. From 1992-1996, OK, sure. But seriously dude, stop bitching about the "24/7" shit. At least half of that time is spent making the records. You know what that's called Richie? A job. And a damn good one. We all have them. At the end of the day, you go home to your family. And with a shitload lot more money than any of us, so pardon me if I don't dry for you Argentina. From 1996-2000, again, no band. Any time "away from his family", his call. And yeah, from 2000 on it has been album-tour, but again, you've got a box set in there in 2004, where they weren't around. You've got a GH record after the Circle Tour. Jesus, the guy's had more time off than any of us have had in our lives. I agree they maybe should have taken more time off after the last tour, but he should have come to this realization that he didn't want to be a part of it from the get-go. You don't call in sick one day and decide you're taking the next 6 months off. And don't use the "I wanna be a Daddy" excuse either when you're traveling the world with some blonde bimbo playing Ken and Barbie for the fashion world.
