You would need a crystal ball, not a time machine (unless you plan on changing the past by snipping off some of the band members).... I do agree that Bon Jovi was the perfect storm but Jon was a also a determined Mother F-er. I think somehow, someway he would have still been famous. Slippery might not have happened or other huge moments but I think Jon with the help of other talented people would have catapulted himself into stardom eitherway.

Based on previous facts and statements, I would say this is most likely NOT the case. Jon seemed pretty receptive to Richie's concerns for leaving. Unless they have lawyers battling it out underground somewhere, I don't think something like that would be kept quiet for too long.
