I just think he looks like someone in his mid-50s who is really tired--too tired to put on an act for the camera. I remember once in an interview when he said that friends want to visit him in his dressing room after the show and it gets to be 2AM and he is thinking to himself that he just wants to go to bed and sleep. I am sure in his 20s and 30s he could be up all night and if he wanted friends to leave it wasn't to go to bed and *sleep*.
