And interestingly, they first diagnosed Paul with appendicitis too. After he told them he had his appendix out at 15, they then looked at the gall bladder. It's possible that Tico was misdiagnosed to begin with.

I guess my point is that Tico may not need to be out that long. We will soon see.
I wondered if the appendix was misdiagnosed also, since the reports said it had not ruptured? My gal bladder went for months undiagnosed because I did not have stones so on the ultrasound I looked fine. 4 or 5 attacks later they ordered a specific scan and then it was found as non-functioning. Your husband must be much tougher than I was. I had surg. on Fri. and did not go back to work until Wed. a week later. I had, I think, 14 staples on the four incisions and they stayed in over a week. They I think as much as anything kept my abdomen sore. I had restrictions for 4 weeks. Hope Tico is more like your husband but this is twice in just a couple of weeks.

Poor Tico! I feel bad for him having to go under anesthesia twice so close together. That's a bitch. I had gall bladder disease for years and got misdiagosed with everything from irritable bowel syndrome to OCD/Bulimia (because I threw up everything I ate that wasn't bread). My symptoms started in 1998 and I didn't have surgery until 2006 when my gallbladder was practically dead. I hope Tico has better doctors than I had and they get it right this time!

This should definitely be called the Damned if You Do/Damned if You Don't Tour as someone suggested upthread.

All that can really be said is, I hope for Tico to feel better soon and, My respects for Jon and Dave as they are not being put into an easy situation. Put on the best show they can in front of so many people with only half the original 4, it can't be easy as they have to be aware of the backlash that's already being thrown their way, I gotta say, this is the first time since I've been a fan that I can say I see Jon's hopeful, perseverance and go get 'em attitude he preaches to have so much in his songs....

I think that is the point of laser surgery, there are no incisions. He had about a 1/2 inch size poke in 2 different places that literally were covered with bandaids. No stitches or staples of any kind. Incisions would be much more painful (especially if muscles are cut) and I guess it will depend on how they do it.

And Javier - I hear you. Instead of bashing Jon I would think people would be admiring him for his perseverance and for practicing what he preaches.

Yeah, I just heard them play Beautiful World by Bon Jovi. Singer sounds shit though, I'm not too familiar with them but he sounds horribly out of breath.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Well, Jovi better not play jumpin' jack flash in sleep tonight. lol.

though this version sounds more mid-tempo than it should be.

Salaam Aleikum,

When I listen to Beautiful World I sometimes end up singing the lyrics of How Far We've Come (MB20's song) 'cause it's such a blantant rip-off.
