I'm also disappointed they are not coming to my country. However, I think nearly anyone could go abroad also for one show only. These days it's not that expensive to take a plan with low cost companies and, if you really care about the band, you could save some money to see them live.

...AEG live said NO! I wouldn't see any reason for BJ not wanting to play in Brazil and I don't think it even went as far as asking the band: "Would you like to play in Brazil?" ...no, i think it's more like the band saying : "Hey, we are to old and too rich and too lazy to actually care where we play so you just do it for us but make sure it's good for both of us!" ...with "you" i mean AEG or the other promoters they've been using recently.

I'm too tired and sleepy for my posts to make sense...good night!

I didn't see Iceman quite a while but he would say now that none of my posts make sense. Just a remark!

Yes but again that depends on the band. The promoter calculates the risk and makes an offer. After all don't forget that they make a living out of organizing concerts and most of them don't do 20 concerts a year. They do 3 or maybe 4 or 5 high profile concerts and with profits from these concerts they have to cover their whole year. If the band asks for too much then it doesn't happen. Some bands don't understand that they can't ask the same ammount of money for a concert in Greece and a concert in London. In London the market is bigger and the salaries much higher.

oh, come on! the band has very little to do with choosing what country they`re going to visit. it`s all about the managment. from the band`s side. and as for the country, if the agency does not have guts to risk the show, then there`s no show at all.
us, fans from czech and slovak republic been discussing whether or not they would come, wanted to come, or will ever come and why they are not going to come. we`ve asked agencies all over cz&sk and none of them was about to call them. the answers were like 'there`s no fan enough in our agency to try so hard for them to come' or 'they ask too much money' but the biggest problem is if there would be enough people to come. the agencies have to have a certain amount of money earnt and obviously, they don`t think they would have enough....
there is also a matter of how popular BJ in our countries are. one of the fans has talked to a guy who did some jobs for magazines, been to some BJ shows and shows of many other artists. he`s of an opinion, that there are not enough big fans to come, and if there are people who would come only for interest, the tickets are too expensive to pay only because of curiosity. he said something iteresting " the older never took BJ seriously and the younger have different 'heroes' "
so that`s for 'why don`t they come'

I suppose you mean the last European show, but still: how do you know? Up until a few days ago it seemed as if the Wembley respectively Milton Keynes shows will be the last.

You know I feel for you if you cant afford to get to a show but its no fault of anyone around here. Some of us are making the most of not having any ties or responsibilites so we can do more than one concert when I have kids or whatever my priorities will change,

I appreciate that you cant afford it, but I actually dont think its too much hardship for a BJ fan living in France tget to a show in either in the UK, Germany or Holland. Think of those in Australlia who have to travel to another continent to see Bon Jovi.

I dont have a good job but am on my own and still have outgoings but i manage to go to shows even if its not every show.

Fair enough BJ play 8 shows max in the uk but in 2003 i didnt have a job and managed to see BJ at every UK show including Dublin. Travel is by no means cheap but hey budget for it rather than pay all at once for it.

2001 by no means did i have a good job but still went to every UK show also.

Its not about the job you have its whether or not you can budget!
