Default NY/NJ residents, travel question

Hello. I will be traveling to Jersey for the Aug 7 show. Where is the best area to stay in? I know probably in the Meadowlands, but are there any others you recommend? I stayed in Newark last time No offense but I would rather stay elsewhere How is Paramus?

Thanks for your help!

Anna

Paramus isn't bad. If you have a car.
If you don't have a car, stay in NYC and take a bus to Giants Stadium from Port Authority. It's really cheap and very regular when there are concerts, football games, etc.
Otherwise, try to stay around Secaucus... it's a quick trip to Giants from there.

Paramus is quite good - not like Newark at all. There are also a few big hotels right near Giants Stadium. I saw people walking back to these after the Bruce concert the other night. They are convenient to the stadium but in an industrial type setting - not scenic or anything. I could look in the phone book for some names. Since I live here I'm not that familiar with the hotels locally.

Thanks guys! I think I will go with Paramus then. We found some hotels there. I look forward to driving there. I have the grill, and the beer all ready for tailgating.
