She didn't call you a non-fan, she said that type of mistake is one a non-fan makes, not one that has been following them for years.

I'm pretty sure the real issue taken here is some of the statements you make just feed gossip or breed plain wrong information, on top of spelling a band member's name wrong. Essentially, they are already irritated with you.

Just the messenger.

Getting back on topic; I agree that Bon Jovi wouldn't have any problem in continuing their trend as a stadium rock band in the UK next year, as long as the pricing is realistic.

They tell us the promoter is to blame for the high ticket prices and then the Oz stadium prices come out and there are about 6 different ticket options. I preferred the days when you used to get ONE ticket price and the first 2000 through the gate got into the pit.

I say that, even though at Wembley 2000 my gate wouldn't open and despite queueing from the early hours I didn't get in the pit but this is the chance you take, I am not moaning.

Then on the Bounce tour, like many I paid the extra and got Gold Circle Standing and got let in earlier, increasing my chances of getting in the pit. Still, I think the price was around £80 and I was happy to pay it to see them at Wolves, Manchester and Hyde Park (although the organisation at HP was shocking and I missed out on getting in the pit).

Next year, I am guessing that the promoter will give the punter the option of paying through the nose to guarantee a pit place. There will probably be three or four pit options, with the front area reserved for those willing to pay extortionate prices.

Both band and promoter know that the front row is made up of virtually the same people all over Europe, they'll know that fans are willing to pay hundreds, if not thousands to follow the band all over the place, they will charge massive amounts knowing the few will pay it to get to the front. The general admission tickets will sell pretty well as most people will buy a £50 ticket first and then see if they can get a knocked down price pit ticket later. If they sell 100 tickets at a premium price, then have to drop the price nearer the time of the event, they've still made a mint and probably filled the stadium.

It's a sad indictment of the times but it's fact now; the promoter is king and they and the bands are creaming the benefits. This is why they will never go back to the old ways of one pit, one price and first come, first served. The alternative garners too much profit. This is all guesswork based on O2 and Australian ticket prices, of course. But I firmly believe that the O2 served Bon Jovi and AEG in two ways; One: generating massive funds for both and two: a test balloon for pricing scales in the future.

That was the precise moment I lost all patience with Bon Jovi's greed.

The very idea that a *Gold Circle* ticket wouldn't let you into the front enclosure. You paid however much of a premium and yet *still* had to take a day off work to queue up if you wanted to be at the front. And of course none of this was announced at the time you bought the tickets.

In all honesty, the circular walkway is the one thing I really would change about Bon Jovi's current show (possibly above rebalancing the pricing structure). It's such a visible symbol that money buys you favours in Bon Jovi land. Music should not be about dividing people.

The gold circle is a rip off.
Also it dont mean the diehards will be rhem just the dans with rhe most money which seems to be jons language these days.
To me its saying "Pay £££ and you get to be close to me or just pay the normal price and watch us with the normal people!"

At twickenham they couldnt give away the golden tickets in the end. I heard sommeone say they only wanted £50 for his spare one and couldnt sell it.
