Very true, and very good observation: the man just doesn't get creative anymore.

Anyways, from my armchair position halfway around the world, I would probably give the shows a 7/10. The list of songs played is quite impressive, no doubt; at least 3 or 4 songs we all assumed they would never play again. That said, Thierry pretty much nailed it: the first third of the setlist is an absolute disaster. The fact you have to wait for We Got it Going On to get momentum going isn't good. The thing is, Jon likes not changing things that aren't broken: he's not the type to switch up just to be fresh. The man likes consistency. So that has caused the number one ailment of sets this tour: Too many patterns that are remnants of the LH Tour. They did us some good my moving It's My Life towards the end, where it oughto be anyways. But that first part is still very... shit. At least early on when they were playing Only Lonely and shit you could get excited about it. Oh well.

But I'd kill for almost all of these shows. And yeah, Jon's a dick, but he's been in pretty good spirits publicly and his voice is relatively restored. The band has been playing at a high level- Richie can do this even if he is on cruise. So I have to give at least a 7/10. Shit, every set could have been a Prudential Show Night 10 and I would still give them a 4 if they played STBI at least once.

After the concert in Paris, I just realized the same thing. Specially about his showing off. I just can't stand it anymore.

Richie is still my favourite member of this band for a lot of reasons but I have to admit that you are right. I just can hope that he will start working on a solo project. He needs it and his fans too. Bon Jovi is just a part of him, and to my opinion, not the best part. I want to hear his voice, his guitar work and his lyrics on a solo album. And most of all, I want to see him live on a solo tour, once in my life! And when Jon looks like a pop icone, Richie still looks like a rock star. I thank him for that!

Same here...and I knew it when "The Circle" came out. It's not the music I want to hear anymore. And the concert in Paris just confirmed that this band and I are taking separate ways...But I'm still a fan of Bon Jovi before 2000! And a Richie fan Forever!

I thought they were incredible, especially the two shows I got to see.

Complaining about Jon showing off? I don't get that. He's a rock'n'roll front man. And even back in 96 he was showing off. What's wrong with what he said?

You seem to be looking through Rose-tinted spectacles at something you imagine the band used to be but in reality never was.

Overall, the O2 shows have delivered far more than I expected - I've seen a band on fire, for once acknowledging what fans want to hear and playing them and delivering a fantastic show.

I don't get this whole 'days of being a fan are coming to an end'. They played great shows (fair enough you may not have been at the best or didn't see them as great as everyone else), but even the hardened critics here have gave them startling reviews, the setlists were mixed up a lot (although I agree, the first batch of songs aren't great. However, I would still get into them. Make the best out of any concert situation is what I say) and one thing bugging people for years now...Jon's voice. It's back and sounding its best since '95.

*Nice to see Tico getting recognition. The fact that the man is nearly 60 yet he batters those drums so consistently is quite brilliant. I idolised him since I became a fan of this band and started playing drums because of him. He has his timing perfect, his fills are superb at time and he's just professional about his job. Plus, some of the faces he makes are absolutely priceless.

Thoroughly enjoyed the shows - was totally non-plussed about it until a few weeks ago before the ticket reductions allowed me to get 3 pit nights and a front of A-block for about what 1 pit ticket previously cost (don't mind spending that much over a run of shows but not for 1 show). What was originally 1 night ended up turning in to 7.

They played loads of different songs while having to balance with an arena crowd not being that familiar with the rarities. For all the comments about set-lists, this has been more varied than any other band I go to see (and I go to see alot) - ok it falls short compared to Springsteen but he is very much an exception.

The band looked in good form, Jon sounded good. My one and only regret is being sat at home on night 2 while they were doing Dry County.

I think it's been a much bigger success than everyone thought. Not so much in the papers and that, but for our enjoyment.

I mean, when the tickets were on sale who would of thought we would get all of these rarities?

I know they said we would have a SWW night, but to me, I'd sooner have all of these rare songs than have that night.

2011 tour will be special. It has to be.

The o2 residency has made me realise just why I love this band and how much!

They should put Tico on Jon's left. That spot is empty anyhow. It's almost like a Jon Bon and Sambo duet-tour. Everyone else so far back is just not right. Seems like they are all backing musicians. It really bugs me that Jon's left is completely empty. Was nice though when it was just the 4 of them bowing in front of the crowd at the very end.
